Dogs deseved to make Gbut will get beat on current form Conti didnt have an oponent and she nade us pay The moment i knew the game was lost was when near the end we had 1 v 2 an instead of kickimg the ball off the ground we bend down to pick up the ball and naturally got tackled with the winnining goal shortly after Like the guys a digraceful effort against Collingwood sunk our season -
Post Match Discussion: JLT #1 vs North Melbourne
Swampfox replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
Won as a Team with no major injuries and we may have found another forward -
Who really knows as his resume looks decent enough I do worry that skills and development dont appear to improve and after looking at the descision making and execuyon errors under NO PRESSURE in this game I am more concerned about our recruiting to spot the differnce in gifted athletes who can develop football smarts

Never seen them play worse Clangers kiiled us 2 weeks in a row and Lions next week will put out any hope of a grand final appearance Coach needs to concentrare on doing the basics right Someine should tell them there was oposition in black aqnd white jumpers the same ones you kicked it too all day

Garry Lyon thinks Paxman best AFLW Player.
Swampfox replied to Demonland's topic in AFLW Melbourne Demons
Erin Phillips is the best AFLW player I have seen so far Paxman is one level down like alot of the other teams best players Daisy is all class on and off the feild We certainly have the best midfeild in AFLW though Lyon isnt a great judge (bailey/neeld) and I am so glad he has nosay in recruiting as we would have a team of Toumpass instead of Wines -
Port the big winners in Trade Week?
Swampfox replied to Bring Back Barassi's topic in Melbourne Demons
Only time will tell if they are big winners No dout they have been very active On Paper IMO they have improved their list on a needs basis Be interesting to see if Hinkley can get out of Watts what we couldnt Still be handy player near goals which cost them in 2017 -

Its what will keep Caroline Wilson employed

Tassie was one of my favourites and its a sad day for the club and supporters What a shame they haven't recognised him as an VFL /AFL HOF member before his passing as there is no doubt in my mind its another oversight just like Gary Hardeman I do think that the only player that kept Hudson Goaless was Harvey Merrigan from Fitzroy I compare Tassies drop kick to be just as good as Paul Vinar from Geelong who they claim was the best On Fineys show (SEN1116) i do recall quite a few full forwards saying Tassie Johnson was one of their toughest opponents

I am really stumped as to who i prefer now that we have pick 3 Weitering is the standout and its likely he wont fall to 3 but its who i would select if he does Just hope we get it right Pick 7 will be far less scrutinized by the Media but i would really love to get Francis, Curnow etc here

Well Well Well Not even Damien Barrett can claim we stuffed up this trade period There is no doubt we put ourselves in an ideal position to draft the player we are wanting at pick 3 The depth of this draft is quite shallow which gives us an opportunity to get a another good player at Pick 7 I think we just outfoxed 17 other clubs The players we wanted we got The picks we wanted we got Thanks for being BOLD Josh Mahoney and Co
