  1. Agree but that sort of act deserves more. You could lose an eye from the stops or have a jaw or cheek broken. Low act.
  2. There was so much seagull sh-t dropping all around me I could have ended up all white. It really distracts you from watching the footy when hundreds of the birds are flying just over your head.
  3. They use Bradley and Johnson.
  4. Clearly trying to get the likely finals sides games done on saturday. However, would have thought you would play the later game at Etihad which has a roof for poorer weather and also our game will now be played partly under lights, changing the nature of the game during its course.
  5. They were a disgrace yesterday as there must have been a few hundred of them. The AFL needs to do something about this problem immediately. Bring in that falcon they used at the races, before the supporters arrive and you will never see them again.
  6. I can't recall Rivers ever going forward in an AFL game. How do we know then for a fact he can't play forward if he has never been tried there?
  7. Derek Kickett was obviously unavailable.
  8. Could this be Cam's manager dropping goss to Sheahan, to try and peak the Dees interest in our highest paid player, who in the twilight of his career is uncontracted at season's end?
  9. Agree and good post. I love the way people can write off a ruckman who hasn't even got close to his 21st birthday.
  10. Agree. He has put on a fair bit of weight and is big and ungainly, but doesn't lack for courage or effort. His skills are poor to say the least but he took a couple of grabs, got some hitouts to advantage and is slowly improving. Like many young ruckmen he needs time and games. Whereas PJ has been given chances and failed this guy has his chance and the next season or two will tell if he is to make it.
  11. There is a difference, that punch scored for us. I agree though it was a terrible decision. Imagine that in a close grand final, someone would be up for assaulting the umpire.
  12. He punched it through the goals in a ruck contest with ten players around. What rule says that is a free kick?
  13. I thought he was worse than that.
  14. Would just like to hear that Jack has committed to playing with the Dees.
  15. Good question WJ. I believe there ia a rule that stops a player from moving within the leagues during a supension, so he couldn't play at all in any affiliated AFL league in the weekend of the suspension incurred in the VFL that was applicable to the next Casey/VFL game. The rule has a downside as you could miss two AFL games if Casey had a bye in the week after the supension was incurred. That is an anomaly that I think still exists in the rules.
  16. But all three in the same forward line make each other better and that is all that matters. Throw in Sylvia, a bigger stronger Watts and a fit Aussie and they will all get better.
  17. How about the boys look each other in the eye and commit to getting the ball, applying absolute pressure and no easy kicks for the opposition. If that doesn't work then the first player not to go hard when it is their turn has to write on the blackboard " I didn't go hard" a 100 times!
  18. If that's true I wish him the all the best and hope that he can use his footy as an outlet to get away from some of life's troubles. IMO he has a fair bit of ability and as we know mobile 198cm players don't grow on trees. I think he can cement a place in the side next year if he can get fully fit and muscle up a bit more. He may surprise a lot of Dees fans.
  19. On the bench for Casey this week.
  20. Has he what? Up 11 times for 11 guilty findings. A real ball player. He described himself as an [censored] in an interview, no one is disagreeing.
