While I think we can get Garlett for a late pick or maybe a Blease swap if Blues want him, I am a bit concerned on doing the Frost deal. GWS could be holding out to see if we upset their chance of getting pick 1. Also they may want our 2 nd rounder as we have lost our 3rd rounder for Billy. It would be good if we could get enough from our only asset on the table MC, to do both the HL deal and the Frost deal. That way they are put to bed and we get the 3 blokes named as wanting to come to us. We can then hopefully get involved in some more deals. Keeping 2 and 3 won't make me unhappy.

I would still look at Merrett if he could be swapped for an unwanted player or another late pick or extra pick from some deal. I am not thrilled ablout Garlett but he could be useful if he learns to defend.

Agree with this. I believe we could get 33 and another pick from Cats for MC with the second one going for Frost. That way we get HL and Frost for MC. It is not impossible as Cats are saying he could be a star for them. They have missed on Chip and we can force MC into the draft.

We have now pulled the trigger and told them we will take McCartin if they swap pick 1 or take Petracca.

Tell him Beams has also been cleared to Lions for pick 98.
