To get your price up.

No, the morons don't do it because of Demonland apologists, they do it to get the stupid reaction they got, which then gets the incident on the news.Would we be all discussing this if Clarkson told the moron to F off and simply walked away?
-
Who said they are prevailing. All I am saying is the response has to be reasonable. Next time you are drunk and yell near me and hassle me, I will knock your block off. You of course will be happy with that, as you won't prevail. BTW, I love this line " the drunks knew what they were doing I have no doubt". You are a special human being, to be able to know that.
-
I don't want to be seen as an apologist for hoons. Their behaviour started the incident no doubt. However the issue was whether the response was appropriate. Some on here advocated knocking the bloke out and saw no problem with that. I disagree with that and incidentally, so does the law. It was reported that Clarkson punched the guy in the neck and grabbed his throat. I then saw the vision and that appeared to be the case. The version now seems to be he only pushed him away. If that is all that he did then that is fine. I was arguing against punching the bloke and even knocking him out, as some advocated.

Sorry, didn't realize invading his space meant he actually touched him.
-
Clarko is heading for another AFL fine.
-
What would be your defence if the guy falls on the floor, hits his head and dies. Poor post.
-
They would have no fame if Clarko hadn't punched the guy. I can see the defence to assaults now, this guy annoyed me so I hit him. If you think Clarko had the right to hit a bloke who hadn't touched him and was clearly a drunken moron, you are dreaming. What if every player did that, in similar circumstances? Would Roos have reacted in the same manner?

I remember some years ago many on here wanted Jones gone. Too slow, tried to do too much, too short etc.I wasn't one of those people, incidentally were you? Also a couple of years ago the same happened to Dunn. Watts has pros and cons to his game and IMO in an improving side he will be a better player for us. I think Roos clearly shares my view. BTW I was furious in the Crows game over those dropped marks, but there is more to him than that. Garlett hasn't kicked a set shot and goes missing for chunks of games, do we dump him. Even our new idol missed a set shot from about 13 metres against the Crows. Watts will improve and prove a few people wrong.

It was obvious last night and in previous games, that we don't handball properly. We belt handballs to team mates as hard as we can, making it impossible for the receiver to take the ball and then play on. The idea of a good handball, is to make it easy for the receiver to take possession. Somebody needs to teach these guys the correct way to handball to a team mate who is a few metres away. It will improve our chances of retaining possession and lead to more scoring.

Good get but meaningless.Agree with the grin at the end.

Agree. He should be played forward. He is a natural forward with a great pair of hands. If we keep improving I think he will stay, on an increased pay, but not the ridiculous figures being thrown about by his management.
-
Agree. I thought he went hard at a few contests. He didn't get hurt and hopefully that builds confidence. He missed a soft mark and a couple of passes, but so did everyone else. He is a work in progress. In an improving Dees side, he will be more value as we go along, with him being considered a minor player by the opposition and possibly getting the 4th best defender.

Sweet dreams. Seriously you cannot expect to beat the Dockers anywhere and in any galaxy, however, we are a different side and hopefully we can be very competitive. Then, if we were very lucky and they kicked badly, got injuries and we had the best of the umpiring, well you never know!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Then I woke up.

Would have thought JV was the Yin. Actually thought Watts got involved in more hard contests.

Feeling a bit happier now OD?

We should be first in line with Roos connections.

THE DRUG SCANDAL: AFL TRIBUNAL DECIDES
Redleg replied to Whispering_Jack's topic in Melbourne Demons
Just thought it is funny you can base a conclusion on so many people on the actions of one. -
THE DRUG SCANDAL: AFL TRIBUNAL DECIDES
Redleg replied to Whispering_Jack's topic in Melbourne Demons
So your conclusion as to "all barristers", is based on the actions of just one. -
Well he could go to the bottom club in the PSD, that would give him a good chance of finals.
-
Going to be wet Friday night, so hope we don't go too tall.
-
We have a new 4-6, Frost.
-
We need to play well and hopefully win, given it is our only friday night game and with it, major media exposure.
-
I think the rest of the AFL would join you.

When I see statements like the title of this thread, I know the opposite will usually happen.
