  1. Fritsch didn't select him in the side and a team mate is a team mate. I know you were being sarcastic.
  2. You don't know that, unless you have actual inside knowledge of how he views his games. As for his often poor disposal, that may have something to do with a lack of presenting by others, a direction from his coaches to move it along at all costs and a few skill errors, where he wouldn't be Robinson Crusoe in this side.
  3. Correct. We put our worst and smallest team on the park for the year, so a loss was not a surprise. But there are a few other problems as well, that will need to be fixed though. Lack of effective game plan. Lack of pace. Lack of skill. Lack of small goal kicking forwards. Lack of effort. Lack of fitness. Lack of effective tackling. Lack of playing for the team.
  4. Really are we surprised with the team we have out there? 4 midgets and we bomb it high and can’t stick a tackle. Very predictable.
  5. Get a tackling Coach quick. We don’t stick tackles.
  6. I can’t find an empty seat to sit in.
  7. Hope they schedule a long meeting.
  8. He will stay with the Roos.
  9. How do we know GC won't take Anderson? Rowell is a smaller Gus.
  10. Game of the year tonight. I hope I can find a seat.
  11. Must be OD, as I don't know what the hell you are talking about.
  12. IF it could be done, you would grab it. Say pick 2 and ANB and the Wagners, giving Anderson and experience to GCS and King and a lower first round pick to us. That would take care of our needed extra key forward and in years to come, second ruckman. You would have Tom Mac, Weid, King and Petty. You could then concentrate on pace and small forwards with the rest of your drafting/trading. Langdon if you could get him, would solve the running half back problem and you would be looking a better team.
  13. If GCS traded their 2020 first round pick to us they would win the flag. MFCSS says hi.
  14. No he isn't, but I am and I came out with that Defence back then, plus numerous others. Like so many DL's we posted that how can you deliberately lose, when you are not good enough to win anyway. Would I be accused of tanking in a tennis match against Roger Federer if I didn't try my best to win? Also, in the game we copped it for tanking against the Tigers, we were leading when the final siren blew, a second after Jordan McMahon marked it and then kicked the goal and won the Tigers the game. "The tanking furore has previously centred on the Melbourne's narrow 2009 Round 18 loss to Richmond, where Tiger Jordan McMahon kicked a match-winning goal after the siren" Anyway, enough of tanking talk.
  15. That is amazing. We have played nearly every available player this year.
  16. I am staggered he is getting a game, given his season so far, however, that said, I am happy for him and hope he goes ok. I suppose with so many injuries and other players out of form and being late in a horrible season, it is the perfect chance to blood a couple of guys and give then a taste of the big time.
  17. Agree. Kid has talent and is getting better with each game.
  18. Jordan Lewis is involved in a winery doing a Pinot. Spoke to him today and you might want to see if you can get a crate.
  19. Looking like a lot of changes coming for the MFC, both on and off field.
  20. We took Sparrow in the Draft as a normal pick.
  21. He put on the number 22 Pies Jumper and no one went near him.
  22. This is coming from the Coaches, Players and Clubs, not the AFL.
  23. Probably a by product of coke.
  24. We keep hearing that the AFL Coach is really a Manager of people and the public face of the FD. He has fitness people, medical people, recruiting people, list management people and assistant coaches, working with him to achieve the optimum result for his club. The tactics seem to come from others, be it the Assistant Coaches, the Tactical Coach or group think. Even if a side is losing, the Coach could be going ok, but at the same time his assistants might not be. Therefore, it is fully understandable, that a club could be happy with its Coach, but be unhappy with his Assistants and require changes in that group.
  25. Salem started the year brilliantly and has tapered off noticeably.
