Well done ANB. It is a great achievement to play 100 AFL games. I am one who wanted you gone and is still not really a fan, but that doesn’t mean your good games and achievements can’t be recognised. Congrats and hopefully your 100th is a big Dees win with you playing well.

I would have thought in the predicted very wet game, a harder player might have got the nod, like VDB or even JJ. Maybe they want Melksham’s foot skills in the poor conditions, to score, or set up a couple of goals.

You forgot Beamer, who got 2 weeks, for no contact at all with a Cats player. Every new, weird decision, does seem to involve us.

The commentators on kayo freebie referred to Laurie Bailey continuously during the Casey game. He appears almost identical to Bailey Laurie, so maybe we could draft him and have two of them.

I remember the Bont eye gouge by Toby Greene. Bont lying pinned on the ground, Toby runs in, looks to see the umpires can’t see and then eye gouges Bont. A disgusting and dangerous act. Penalty a fine. Buddy, Shuey, Daniher and Astbury deliberately elbow players this year and are fined. Nothing to see here. PS. There was a suggestion JV was sore and maybe a couple of weeks freshens him.

That indicates a deal. I can see one week coming .

Whately just said that offence is from a fine to a week and AFL will ask for a week. He will get a week.

I thought Viney's first half was horrible. His second was good. He needs to be coached from now on, to take the first option, immediately. That will improve his game and ours. We know he is hard at the ball and not great at disposal, but a quick release to another player, will avoid htb decisions and at least get the ball forward quickly, where our scoring opportunities will increase. Harmes needs to be told to do likewise and when he kicks for goal, to not run out to the right. Both of them can be valuable to us, with a little change to their games.
