Time to go Goody?
We have won 6 of our last 22 games. It's is hard to fathom really, and unacceptable.

POSTGAME: Rd 17 vs Adelaide
I agree but they simply have to play him every game for this year, there is nothing to lose and he needs a string of games. I'd drop Fritta ahead of him.

POSTGAME: Rd 17 vs Adelaide
Can't fault the effort. But it's about the 5th winnable game in a row where poor kicking in the first quarter cost us the game. Rinse n repeat

We're Not Dead Yet - The 2025 Season
St Kilda have won 2 of their last 12 games. One of them an embarrassing loss for us. We are equal on the ladder and ahead marginally by percentage and after today we will likely go below them into the bottom four where we belong. That's how well we are going.

NON-MFC: Round 17
Their football tonight is more enjoyable to watch than what we've dished up recently. Whether they maintain it for the match I'm not sure.

GAMEDAY: Rd 16 vs Gold Coast
Melbourne and Carlton might actually be the same team in disguise. Unwatchable stuff this

NON-MFC: Round 14
Xerri was clearly injured. Watch him walking out of the 3/4 time huddle. Don't worry you're not alone as all the commentators missed it too.

Umpiring standard
I read that 7 of there 11 goals were from frees or 50s, can anyone confirm?

POSTGAME: Rd 13 vs Collingwood
Really, really proud.

Digital Membership
Anyone else having trouble accessing tickets thru the MFC digital app? Happened to me last home game against Swans where it makes you link accounts with Ticketmaster then continually says session timed out. Don't want to line up tomorrow for my ticket!

We're Not Dead Yet - The 2025 Season
So you think we only lose 3 games from here? Which games?

POSTGAME: Rd 12 vs St. Kilda
Seems we haven't changed. This is classic Melbourne of the past 2-3 years losing games we are expected to win . 1.12 in the second half is diabolical. Any finals hope has now all but gone. I'm not even upset or surprised.

CASEY: Rd 10 vs Sydney Swans
Didn't see the game but 8 marks for JVR is a very good sign. Hopefully he is building some confidence. Would love to see more stats like this from Culley next few weeks.

POSTGAME: Rd 11 vs Sydney
There was so much to like but what impressed me most was our forward pressure in the last quarter when the game was done and dusted. Boys were hungry today it was awesome to see.

Crowd at The Hawthorne Game
Agree and I was right in amongst where the majority of our fans were in Olympic Stand. At least 60% Hawks in the crowd I reckon

POSTGAME: Rd 09 vs Hawthorn
I think we win the game if those 3 played. Dominated 3 quarters in every department bar the scoreboard due to horrendous goalkicking and some staggering ineptiude from umpires. The Kozzy trip non decision is hard to believe 4 umpires can miss that but just as bad the free against Fritta for pushing CJ when he was clearly pushed into him by Sicily which gets you a suspension if someone gets hurt. The 4th quarter was just so predictable.

Jack Davey
Such a devastating loss for the family. I have a boy similar age and I'm not sure I would cope for the rest of my life dealing with such pain. Absolutely love that the club continues to support this family, it actually makes me tear up.

NON-MFC: Round 09
It was his second game back from a 4 week injury. He was close to BOG in his 2 games prior to injury and probably ranked 3 or 4th best ruckman at the time. With Darcy back out with injury he will be primarily rucking and will start dominating games again. I'd take him back with open arms if we can pull it off

PREGAME: Rd 08 vs West Coast
Frittas 2.2 might save him but for a bloke dropped, showing absolutely zero in the VFL to warrant a return other than Melksham injury it was a really poor night from him. Zero tackles while the rest of the forwardline are breaking records in F50 tackles. Maybe it's not expected of him, but his lack of intent and pressure is really disappointing.

MFC App Ticket Issues
No all good for me earlier today

POSTGAME: Rd 06 vs Fremantle
Watched him closely at the ground. It won't get picked up on tv but especially when we don't have the ball, the focus and enthusiasm he shows setting up zones and directing others is fantastic to see.

POSTGAME: Rd 06 vs Fremantle
He's a classic winger and I hope when Mcvee returns we play him there. Then rotate the other wing with Langdon and X somehow

POSTGAME: Rd 06 vs Fremantle
Watch the replay David. Spargo was no passenger. Best game he's played in some time.
-
POSTGAME: Rd 06 vs Fremantle
Agree. We will be better off with May as a target to kick to from those kick outs.

POSTGAME: Rd 06 vs Fremantle
Rapt with not only a 4 quarter effort but the way we responded multiple times when they came at us. Was a great atmosphere at the G. Great game of footy
