I think the thought process is you have to give up something to get something. Lever is a defender, which defender do we give up? Talk of Frost trade is ridiculous for mine as well, he is a very good player, plays big and short, has incredible pace and his kicking has improved tonne very reliable by foot. In saying that what would they want from us? ANB (he is underrated on here) plus a pick plus another player? Midfield grunt they don't have at present.

"The Party" as I've heard him called by some Dees fans, what a great moniker but he has brought more to the club than a good time. Can he get to 100 MFC games? Not likely but would be nice if he could. He has been really positive in his influence and seems to have grown into more of a leader. Give him a year and see how next year goes, it could be one of those things where a few of the younger brigade just go bang over the next preseason, really develop and Bernie can no longer get a regular game. He will still have something to offer but becomes a bit part player when needed.

Really well. How nice is it to be in the top 8, with hope of finals footy and a future that looks bright. With a coach who is clearly a leader of men, who is measured and intelligent driving us for sustained success (hopefully). An off field team lead incredibly well by PJ that is quietly quietly going about its business of making enoug money to give the footy dept every chance of success. No histrionics just getting the Jon done! It smells like [censored] roses to me at the minute. I've not really picked up on any negativity about us from other fans at this point, although watching the baggers replay I did really enjoy winning as their fans were really up and about when they went a few goals ahead in the last! Suck it you cheating for flags, self indulgent flo gs.

It's been a few years but any of the Walkabouts may have it on, check with the one you'll be closest to prior too though. Temple is probs the "best" of them only due to its location on a fine summers day.

In the poor Crips (Struts) broken leg tears, what was the outcome for White for Ctankers? His looked just as bad as Struts.

Gee wiz the umps let us get monstered during this game. How bad was the Weitering free on Plugger Sticks McDonald? Plugger Sticks McDonald kicking for goal is sublime! Hoges just after halftime up the ground looked good. Kent just before the half gave a bit and won't be dropped. If we can get a few back in next 2-3 weeks, we will do some damage.

You're correct and i noted above Peds might be an unlucky one, its so difficult to pick. Will depend on who is back and Kent would be ahead of PEds to go out. But does he get another chance to find his sea legs. I try and stay away from these threads as this year it is difficult to see who comes out and we tend to over think some of these things.

Unless multiple better players are coming back in don't see many changes. Ie if Watts and Tyson are ready not sure of the second out. Maybe Stretcher would be the only out on form and Peds as the unlucky one. Kent, give him another week to find his feet. Smith, people can't seriously see him as an out. Footy dept have rushed him and Hoges back in for a reason, they see them as vital to get games into them after so long out. Vital for a finals campaign, incredible journey for a bloke who had played half a qtr of AFL before the weekend.

No matter what was said young Clayton is becoming a target and now all fans will be on the attack. We were a target for the Blues on the ground today and will be under the pump the rest of the season. Looking forward to getting Jones, Watts and Viney back to give us some more grunt.

Clarrie, we all love him but he needs to focus on footy. He has been brilliant again today in close. We're right in it with the baggers having injury issues. Need to really roll over the top of them and plenty of players to step up.

Listening to Mick on radio now days, I feel his decline has been rapid. Some blokes can go on coaching for a long time but age catches up with all of us. In Micks case, while still young in life terms the game really passed him by quickly.

What a season! GWS 2 draws in a row with the worst injury list in the comp. Sainters smashing the tiggers to keep the pressure on us. Is Cotchin the worst captain in the comp? Dees on the up this year but are being tested each week, massive game today.
