    This is probably the appropriate thread to post this image of the Portland Football Club team in 1949. Top left is the one and only Stuart Spencer, who won both his club and the League Best & Fairest that year as a 17 year old. In 1950 he was playing for the Melbourne Football Club.

    Unless he's a free agent, some sort of trade would need to take place I think. (cf Luke Jackson) Alternatively, he could nominate for the draft but then he would have no say where he ends up.

    He's 18 months older than Fritta so wouldn't be replacing him other than in the unfortunate case of injury. Melksham on the other hand ...

    McAdam's mooted move to Melbourne also opens up the possibility of a three-club trade between the two SA clubs and ourselves, involving Grundy to Port plus other players and draft picks being involved.

    His highlights reel is impressive, but that's what highlight reels are for. I see he wears number 23 at Adelaide. If he's keen on that number, there's every possibility it may be vacant at Melbourne at the end of this season. For a third-rounder as suggested? I'm in.
