  1. Forget the Aerogard, there are far better insect repellents out there. Bushman's is stronger and more effective as it has a higher DEET content. However, the best I've ever used is an organic product called Nature's Botanical which requires only a small application and which flies absolutely hate. It's active ingredients are rosemary and cedarwood.
  2. Travel is a fact of AFL life. So are injuries. Players get injured in intra-club games.
  3. Yes he is, provided of course he doesn't get reported and rubbed out for an offence in 2025. The suspension he copped in 2024 has no bearing on next year's Brownlow, even though he will serve his three week sentence at the beginning of the 2025 season.
  4. Anybody else find the jerky, wobbly camera work really hard on the eyes and difficult to watch? That is not a criticism of the content nor the club's efforts in putting it out there for us.
  5. Near enough's good enough when it's in the Currant Bun.
  6. First day of the Test, first session, first over, first ball ... Starc gets Jaiswal LBW. Wicket!!! The Australian reserves come out to the huddle with drinks. I mean, really? After one delivery?
  7. I'm not into nicknames and never use them, but that's very good. Probably shortened to Banger. That was Robert Harvey's sobriquet. Time for a refill?
  8. Where there is a will, there is often a hundred relatives.
  9. Twain never played but he's a well regarded junior coach and mentor. One of his more successful proteges is the recently drafted "Huckleberry" Finn O'Sullivan.
  10. He is not going to get anywhere doing that The trainers took the rear view mirrors off the bike later in the session. Since then, Rick hasn't looked back.
  11. Here's a full list. XL is not our first. https://www.draftguru.com.au/from/gippsland_power
  12. Played 16 games for Brisbane.
  13. By the time he finishes growing, he'll be taller than Bowey standing on Spargo's shoulders.
  14. I'm keen to see a return of the 'facepalm' emoji and my posts can only aid the cause.
  15. Will he blend into his new surroundings? He might be Karma Chameleon.
  16. I hope he doesn't copy Brodie Grundy's hairdo and sport the Sinneman bun.
  17. That Hawthorn "fan" should certainly be embarrassed by their ignorance! Sounds like a bandwagon supporter who has been quiet for the past few years but will no doubt come out of hibernation if the Hawks continue their renaissance.
  18. Robert Campbell. Robert, who was on our rookie list in 2011, finished up at Hawthorn in 2009 (a few years before the threepeat). He did play in Hawthorn's premiership in 2008. As has been mentioned, "our" Tom never played for Hawthorn. There's still time, however.
  19. The Rolling Stones started out as a Blues cover band, so Jagga to Carlton seems like a natural fit.
  20. How are things in Camberwell today, Chris? You might want to read my post again, but move your lips more slowly in an effort to comprehend what I said.
  21. Can't believe this is your first post for a couple of years, @faultydet. Where ya been?
  22. It's nice that Kalani is wearing his dad's girdle. Gotta love a bit of tradition.
