Thanks for the hard work on the list: To clarify, are these players free agents before or after 2026 season? I’d want to keep Fritta and move him up like Jeremy Cameron, he’s got good ball use, decent speed and decent ground work, Chandler (if he improves or plays more like ANB), and Culley.

Was just listening to SEN. they had on a Adelaide board member or similar. He mentioned that they would probably have to give up a key forward for Trac. Lyon asked for Thilthorpe which both laughed and shot down. So maybe a key position forward coming our way after all.

I have a feeling the club won’t play hardball owing to the previous seasons, but fingers crossed I am wrong. With Trac we have all the power so should accept literally nothing unless it’s brilliant and McVee can go into the draft.

Someone on his plane would have ratted. Possibly GCS also knew he was going and called it in, to put the pressure on Adelaide for not being transparent.

Sounds like a great deal for us then tbh? Petracca is bloody useless forward and whilst great in midfield and contest, can’t hit a target. I see it as a win.

Don’t understand his logic. Media said “anything to say” or similar and he responded “I don’t think this is the time or place to discuss” or similar. I’m paraphrasing. If he didn’t want to be spotted by media, why would you fly. Wouldn’t you simply get in a car, and take a trip.. surely.

Yeh i agree, and i understand. I guess it’s just footy though. I got the sense that he thought higher of himself than he is at too, seemed like he thought he was Dan Houston all Australia version. I’m not intending to be spiteful but I don’t think he will get anywhere as much opportunity and be able to shine as much as he did at our club. We certainly made him what he is.

I know people are upset by his move, but a lot acting like we are losing a duel brownlow medalist. We will be fine, he’s a good ball user and one on one player, but we will find someone else. This thread is catching up to Trac and Oliver moving, which I find crazy.

Wonder what Kingys plan is now with another wanting out. I am positive they probably raised McVee and others in his interviews on the plan in place. They would have had a list of who had been locked in, not locked in or players they wanted to stay or not. I am certainly a bit nervous, wondering if we go higher next year or lower and if lower, how many picks we would get.
