ive always thought Petracca came off as a bit aloof toward the others in the last couple of years. we may never know but it seems like there's some issues around both of them. Still, they helped us win the flag and trac was a brilliant norm smith medallist that day in 21.

ive been watching a lot of games from the 90s recently. miss the one on one positional play so much . that was peak footy.

Im a ships captain . Ultimately , im held responsible for the performance or lack of performance of all the crew. It's my job and responsibility to make sure the team excels. If it isn't or if some of the crew aren't performing, im ultimately responsible to make adjustments so that the issues are resolved. Goodwin has failed to do so.

I saw this car crash coming even before the wheels started squeaking. I’ve been vocal about it since mid 2022 when it was painfully obvious the players thought it was all just going to just happen . He has never shown any ability to pivot and make changes or fix glaring issues . A few weeks of poor form is on the players . Year after year of failing to adapt and instigate changes to the game plan or fix fwd efficiency is on the coach. Hes failed . Cut away and find a new coach

Damning couple of lists

Anyone who knows me from bigfooty knows I’ve been calling goodwins head since halfway through 2022. That year required strong leadership. They played like drunk millionaires . The first 10 games disguised a massive issue with clubs attitude and the game plan. That winning start to the season comprised of wins where we played poorly and relied on one burst to kick a score to win as well as 2 games where we couldn’t put away north and WC. Anyone who looked deeper than just the W/L tally could see there were real issues already. As usual , [censored] poor leadership at the club meant that the grandfinal hangover was a certainty . Goodwin refused to adapt his game plan and thought it would just happen for them. Delusional

We win enough games to save goodwins job and continue to lurch in to mediocrity next season Or we delay the removal of Goodwin and miss the chance to grab a top caliber replacement and have to settle for less. the move needs to be made soon. We are glad we got a flag and goodwins contest and defence plan helped a lot . But times have changed and he shoukdnt get a free pass for the past. If we follow that logic then we’ll never improve . Let’s get ruthless
