  1. Carltonโ€™s predicament is worse than the Neeld era. At least we knew we were [censored] and had no hope or expectations. Carlton conversely, are a decent list, but give their fans hope every week only to be ripped away in literal minutes. There are far more pressing matters in the world, but it must be literal hell as a Carlton fan. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚
  2. Well played Pies and Naicos. Suck [censored] Carlton. 31 years. Tick tockโ€ฆ.
  3. What a night of meltdowns again. Blue Abroad and The Jumper Punch are must listens. ๐Ÿ˜‚
  4. Blooze radio is on full blast now. I love it.. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ I donโ€™t care if itโ€™s Collingwood. Carlton and their fans deserve all this. Scum club.
  5. Blooze radio and Andy Maher are already wrist slashing. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ COME ON PIES!
  6. Tbh, just back in forward line regardless of who comes in. Even if Melksham isnโ€™t injured, Andrews that good so it doesnโ€™t necessarily mean we have the silver bullet. He would always be on the move, on the attack so collectively, the mids need to be smart with ball delivery, and the forwards just need to just as proactive. Canโ€™t allow Andrews front position. Mihochek is the key because his work rate and leading patterns inside the forward 50 has always been an underrated part of his game. I reckon onus will go on him to lead the forwards out on the field.
  7. This club has a history of serving up [censored] like this. Remember losing late in 2020 against lowly Sydney with no Franklin, Mills and Heeney in Cairns with finals on the line? I want to make it clear I donโ€™t mind losing as long as we lose within reason, but to serve up that dross against a side down on confidence and allow them 28 scoring shots from 52 inside 50โ€™s is laughable. I donโ€™t care that we are 5 games into a new regime, to lose to Essendon by 7 goals is unacceptable.
  8. Donโ€™t like to admit it, but St Kilda are a pretty good side. The way we beat them and then to win in similar fashion against Gold Coast makes losing to Essendon by essentially 8 goals is just utter garbage. Iโ€™m still in shock how we lost yesterday.
  9. Spot on, mate. Losing is to be expected, but to use โ€œnew coachโ€ or โ€œnew systemโ€ as an excuse for getting thrashed by Essendon is weak and naive. We always knew there was going to be ups and downs, but the expectations was the hope that the โ€œdownsโ€ would come against the top quality sides like Brisbane or Fremantle, but not against sides like Essendon- sides that are literally on their knees and on a 17 match losing streak. We have shown we can be a brutal tackling side as evidence against St Kilda and Gold Coast, but to your point about the lack of effort and pressure, to allow Essendon to score every 1 in 2 entries is an absolute disgrace. What stings is, we are still seen as a joke throughout the league with performances such as this. There is no brutality or fear whatsoever with this club.
  10. Lmao, you can just see it now, Curnow will kick 6 straight against us in 3 weeks time.
  11. Lmao, Tottenham condemned to 18th this morning against West Ham, a side I hate as much as Essendon and Dees losing and struggling against a side they should beat. Story of my life.
  12. โ€œBig pictureโ€ โ€œcontextโ€ โ€œnew systemโ€ Blah, blah, blahโ€ฆ. That was straight up garbage, no matter how you try and spin it. I could cop getting belted by Fremantle, but not Essendon, at least with their current form and predicament. An absolutely lazy and arrogant performance today that lacked so much defensive application and accountability. To beat St Kilda and Gold Coast in such fashion only to submit to Essendon in such a way that allowed them to score 28 shots on goal from 50 inside 50โ€™s is so [censored] disheartening as a fan after a very positive first month of football. Like, wtfโ€ฆ McKay suddenly turned into prime Scarlett and May looked like Matthew Lloyd of 2000.
  13. I can accept losing but what we saw today from this gutless playing group is just an absolute disgrace. This is an Essendon side on their knees dispatched by every opposition they have faced so far and are equal last with 0 wins and we dish up that kind of [censored]? They scored 1 in every 2 entries and our structure defensively was absolute [censored]. Our end to end ball transition, specially from stoppage was even worse. McKay was made to look like prime Scarlett today. What makes matters worse is, Essendon saw us as an easy kill and an โ€œopportunityโ€ after the start we had. If that doesnโ€™t speak to disrespect or the lack of fear factor Melbourne FC possesses, I donโ€™t know what will. We are still the laughing stock of the entire competition.
  14. Spot on. This club historically has a knack of doing the most dumbest and embarrassing things. How we dropped 2 games to Carlton in โ€˜06 when they were genuinely wooden spoon [censored] which cost us top 4 still sh*ts me to this day. Itโ€™s little wonder why clubs and the wider AFL do not fear or respect us. 40+ pt belting. Unforgivable.
  15. Of course that dumb cant McKay is suddenly prime Scarlett. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคก
  16. Donโ€™t give a [censored] about the umpires. This club has a yearly knack of doing this sort of [censored]. Of course we would be the ones to break their 17 match winless run. The players can go and get [censored]. This club never ceases to disappoint. What I would give to have the tough edge we see in the Sydneyโ€™s and Hawthornโ€™s of the world.. Steven King has the unenviable role of fixing the soft underbelly that still exists within the club.
  17. Lmao, a team on a 16 run losing streak, second last, winless with 60% has generated 18 scoring shots from 39 inside 50โ€™s and dominating ground ball. Absolutely disgusting performance.
  18. The extremely soft underbelly of this club is staggering. Even in the 2021 flag year, we still put up weak as [censored] performances. Remember GWS? Remember Collingwood in Buckleyโ€™s final match as coach?
  19. I knew this wouldnโ€™t be a 40+ like most fans are suggesting as Essendon have somewhat been a bogey side over the last few years, but holy [censored] that was weak as [censored]. Essentially with 1 in 2 entries, Essendon are scoring. This is a team on 62% and 1 of 2 winless sides. Get [censored]!
  20. Is there anything more overrated than โ€œWonderwallโ€, โ€œSweet Carolineโ€ and on the movie front, โ€œThe Shawshank Redemptionโ€?
  21. Lmao, sucked in McVee you [censored]. Another mediocre game and it wonโ€™t be long until he gets dropped to the seconds.
  22. Carlton fans are on a heap of copium right now. Melbourne won the flag as a team ranked in the middle of the pack for โ€œfrees forโ€. Richmond from memory were similar, if not lower during their 3peat era. They were notorious for having a high number of frees against. Currently, Geelong are ranked first for free kicks and have only won 2 games. Stop blaming umpires you pack of losers. If you are good enough, you are good enough. Carlton are sh*t and fans who enable the ****ness with excuses after excuses after excuses are essentially excusing the performances. I swear, they build their entire identity around umpiring performances.
  23. I always love seeing this [censored] fanbase meltdown. The Jumper Punch and Blue Abroad would be some viewing in 2 hours time. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ hopefully a 50+ Adelaide win. 31 years. And countingโ€ฆ
  24. Havenโ€™t enjoyed Gather Round since 2023. This is very much a danger game against Essendon. The club in general has history of dropping the undroppable. Carlton x2 in 06 which cost top 4, also late in 2016 when we were vying for a finals spot Essendon 2016, 24 Collingwood round 23, 2017โ€ฆ We can only hope King has bought a harder edge on the mental side and not allow the trap that โ€œyoungโ€ sides often fall into. Canโ€™t underestimate Essendon at all. Merrett is gonna get going at some stage, and Kako will show why he will be one of the better small forwards in a few years, so we just gotta make sure it isnโ€™t this week.
