  1. People place far too emphasis on 'hitting the gym' and 'bulking up' thinking that is going to increase their output and skill level.
  2. Tyson + Kent (WA Boy) for Gaff. Hang onto Pick 10 + 2nd rounder for Lever + 3rd rounder. Draft Rockliff as an UFA to replace Tyson as that inside midfielder. West coast with Priddis + Mitchell hanging up the boots would see Tyson as a much needed addition. In: Gaff, Lever, 3rd rounder, Rockliff. Out: Pick 10, Tyson, Kent, 2nd rounder.
  3. Just signed a two year deal with the club. Unexpected.
  4. Lachie Hansen as a delisted free agent? Turned 29 only a few weeks ago, led intercept marks from 2014-2016. Could be good depth for us and allow T mac to stay forward with Lever potentially coming in also?
  5. LMAO, look at everyone demanding him to be traded, and when I put his name up for the Lever deal I got put to the slaughter and was called out for even mentioning his name as a trade option.
  6. Pathetic effort. Thought we have changed, and we can't beat an under manned Collingwood side who aren't playing for anything.
  7. Game over. We aren't scraping back to win this. They are getting numbers to every contest and it seems like every opportunity for us to kick a goal it's an absolute scrap, where it just lands in their laps every time they do a quick kick from the pack..
  8. Kirby in for Reid. Leads the VFL goal kicking, has a lot of hype around him in terms of x-factor. Small forward, was very overweight at the start of the year. Should be easily shut down by our nimble backline.
  9. Goodwin's comments surrounding Viney made me think he wasn't a possibility to get up against Collingwood and might be ok for finals. Did anyone else get that inclining also? Or are we just getting him cherry ripe for next weekend?
  10. Out: Wagner, Stretch In: Salem, Viney Unsure who comes out for Watts.
  11. New lease on life at a different club could spark him (this worked for Jeffy). Has real X-factor about him, and having two dangerous smalls to support Hogan + Weideman bringing it to ground would create havoc. Kent/Kennedy out of favour, and Matera wouldn't come with a hefty price tag. Yes for me.
  12. (If Salem isn't suspended) IN: Watts, Salem OUT: Wagner, Weideman
  13. This guy can clunk a grab at its highest point. A bit more consistency in games and more confidence will see him flying for them more often.
  14. I think bringing in Watts against Brisbane would be highly beneficial. He usually plays the G well, and we could play him into some good form and gain confidence for a must win game against Collingwood in the last round. In: Frost, Watts Out: Wagner, Weideman
  15. Can anyone please link something official that alludes to the fact that Hogan could be right for next week? I have no idea where people are even getting this information?
  16. I even think its overs. I completely agree. What annoys me is that posters are touting lever as the 'best key defender of all time, a future captain; when he will be in his prime, then going on to just be happy giving Adelaide a 1st round player and steak knives.
  17. Why? Everyone is suggesting we trade 1st rounder + ANB for Lever. If the roles were reversed, and the Crows were offering a 1st rounder + a player of ANB's caliber for Oliver would we take it? Of course not. People need to take off their rose coloured glasses and start coming up with realistic trade options. Lever is a future captain, AA defender. Someone like Tyson is an accumulator with hardly any damaging disposals. It's a matter of need over want.
  18. OUT: 1st round pick, Tyson IN: Lever, 2nd round. Something around that ball park should satisfy Adelaide.
  19. 100% agree. If Bontempelli was pulling Oliver's numbers this year the media would be wetting themselves with articles about him every fortnight.
  20. Don't forget Gunston as well. They've lost a load of talent.
  21. You know what's funny about this? The one time he didn't do that on the weekend, he got run down in the last quarter..#notfair
  22. It's sometimes about reflecting on those picks we got right, as opposed to picks we got wrong, regardless if they are riddled with injury or not. This is a sporting entity within a professional league, it's not about being unsavoury. The club made the right call and I'm happy about that.
  23. Freeman with another 6 week injury due to his team mate falling on his ankle. Yet to senior debut..You win some, you lose some in the draft. In this case we definitely won. Puts things into perspective when you look at all the 'could have hads' in the draft, yet we don't always stop and think the ones we dodged.
  24. We honestly can't catch a break. Hopefully nothing too serious and there isn't much swelling.
