  1. Oof. We could be in for a rude shock soon.
  2. A middle aged man in beige chinos chucking a massive tantrum is the most 2025 thing I can imagine.
  3. 2019 was a stunner. I've got a feeling 2024 will go close to it.
  4. Bit nervous now. Starting to look a touch shaky. Interesting to see who plays on Molloy.
  5. It's death ride time. Bailey Humphrey. Sleeper agent. You know it makes sense.
  6. Hm. Maybe. I think there's also a VERY compelling case to be made that a team that finished in the bottom five for two years in a row and has now lost two of the midfielders essential to their most recent period of success, one still a strong contributor, will struggle for at least the next little while. Maybe there's a really compelling alternative case. I haven't heard one that doesn't include: a) Our under 20s are simply better than everyone else's (which I would say is wishful at absolute best) b) Oliver and Petracca were always going to take multiple seasons to get back to their best (no longer relevant) I'm enormously excited to see where a completely new coach who obviously wants to go in a completely new direction can get us to. I just don't think it's finals next year. It would be great - it's not impossible - it just strikes me as highly unlikely.
  7. The AFL site only started calling Humphrey "wantaway" after an interview with his manager clearly wasn't the "Nah, nothing to see here" they were expecting.
  8. Gosh. It really took a terrible, terrible toll on Brian Dixon.
  9. How disappointing. Sounds like we've thrown a fair bit at this over a long period of time. Thanks for the updates.
  10. Underwhelming. As always, keen to see what Jason Taylor has in mind.
  11. I posted an AI image of a bottle of perfume. I'm no stranger to the taste and texture of egg.
  12. Zookeeper. Zookeeper. Those two monkeys are killing each other!
  13. I was expecting to hear a complete buffoon. Maybe I'm naive, but that was an excellent interview. He sounds like a bloke you'd want in your corner as a professional footballer. I feel there's a fury simmering beneath the surface. Very unlikely to happen now, but I think a few people who came onto this thread to swagger around and assure everyone they were fools for thinking this was anything other than a mirage look a bit silly now.
  14. But not with COVID, which doesn't exist.
  15. This thread is democracy manifest.
  16. This thread:
  17. Come on. One last pulse before this star collapses in onto itself. Give me something.
  18. Either @Demon4Life and @Demon Forever are enacting a masterful trolling double act or this is getting a bit interesting.
  19. Oh wow. Yes. This is prime Xennial (Generation Y/X cusp) content.
  20. I choose to believe Pick 24 is just a stalling tactic as we wait for Humphrey to set up an elaborate "I want to be traded" spectacle, in the manner of a gender reveal. He will launch a red and yellow dirigible into the sky above Moe and then get Xavier Duursma to shoot it with a flaming arrow a la the bloke at the Barcelona Olympics. The airship, filled with hydrogen and pigment, will explode in a red and blue conflagration that can be seen from space. When asked why he finally relented, Craig Cameron will utter the immortal words: "The humanity."
  21. You mean to tell me you've done NO work for two weeks? Well, not NO work. Very little. And it's because you were refreshing an internet forum about football? No. That's incorrect. Just one page of an internet forum about football on one player who doesn't, and will probably never, play for the team I support. Every five minutes for two full weeks? No! NO! Of course not. NO! Absolutely not. Sometimes it descended into a flurry of puns and I logged off for ten minutes to wait for that [censored] to subside.
  22. There is a lot of selective blindness on this thread, in many cases from people yelling about the dangers of selective blindness.
  23. If that's Bailey Humphrey I'm suddenly EXTREMELY keen on average picks in an ordinary draft.
  24. I love Tim Lamb swivelling like a cartoon detective.
  25. I don't believe in the Law of Attraction. That seems more of a Dimma Hardwick thing.
