  1. Good job Werridee. From all of your teams, I see the Kangas and the Suns as improvers.
  2. I think that Nate Jones starts off with one of a potential coaches most important assets, respect. That's not a bad start,
  3. Sharp is too good for Casey. Competent on both sides of his body, clean hands, quick. He has to be in our best 23 surely? A very astute pick up indeed I feel.
  4. I can't think of one but LK has just turned 19 so has time on his side.
  5. I think he will be a good 'un this young fella.
  6. Tom Campbell is an advocate of climate change strategies and founded the organisation Footy for Climate. Maybe he has been brought in to assist with some climate changes at the Dees!
  7. I think the mind could be helped in this case, by a mental health professional who specialises in trauma focused cognitive behavioural type therapy. Perhaps this has already happened/is happening and I certainly hope it has. Clearly getting the body right is a priority for all AFL players and prime physical health and exercise allows the release of more endorphins which improve mood and outlook complimenting any psychological therapy.
  8. ....and self promotion.
  9. He can train at NASA for all I care. Following such a serious injury, his onfield performance will be dictated by what is between his ears not how much weight he can lift or how many kilometres he gets into his legs.
  10. Of course he's a Demon's fan! Look at some of his song titles! * Save Your Tears * I was Never There * Out of Time
  11. I don't mind Robbo. Although not the most articulate of men, Robbo resonates quite well with the average footy fan I feel. He's the sort of bloke that you could strike up a decent footy related conversation with at the pub. Whateley is the one I dislike and I wouldn't be at all surprised if he was involved in the assassination of Robbo. Whateley strikes me as the type of apple-for-the-teacher/goody-two-shoes type who would dob on his grandmother if it made the boss happy. But that is just my opinion of course.

Dub...Unfortunately it is not only sport that doesn't acknowledge maturity and experience! Most workplaces are the same.
  13. A talented but lazy footballer. No way we need the likes of him.
  14. I'd recruit him for one purpose. To run through Brayden Maynard and then fall on his prone body with a diving elbow drop then a body slam ala WWE. Then he could retire with immediate effect. I'd pay good money to see that.
  15. Didn't watch it but as we all know, if you're not a midfielder, you may as well not go. Simply because you get a shed load of disposals (and if you're N. Daicos, cheap, uncontested ones), that doesn't necessarily mean you are the best player on the field. But what the hell would I know? However, Cripps is a superstar and a deserved winner. On another note, young Harley Reid is about as sharp as a bowling ball albeit he can play footy. There is however something in the back of my mind that tells me that this young bloke may get himself into strife off the field at some point. I will be watching intently.
