  1. Really? Just about Casey's best for me.
  2. Hunter very good. Does BBB come in for Turner? Should have kicked 6+!!
  3. Tholstrup worth another try against the Eagles. Home state, family in attendance, probable good conditions and potentially a weaker opponent. His debut was a baptism of fire against the Lions. Chandler needs a rest.
  4. Superb goal by Tholstrup in greasy conditions.
  5. Tough loss to take but I honestly believe there are more positives to take away. Would like to think it could be a turning point in our season. Would have been easy to 'turn up the toes' and cop a hiding.Despite the despicable 5 day break we were full of running and endeavour. Obviously Petracca was outstanding but most others will improve even if it's marginally. I reckon we will win a minimum 5 of the next seven games and go from there. Our draw is reasonably favourable. Stay healthy and I'm confident. Finally, perhaps a bonus of being mid top 8 for awhile could be that we'll fly under the radar for a bit. Good spot to be.
  6. Salem should ready after another 10 days to recover.
  7. Forgot about McAdam. Presuming he plays tomorrow night and plays reasonably well in the VFL he HAS to come in and play in Perth. Our forward line is screaming out for an 'X factor' and this bloke could well be the answer! I'll be watching with interest.
  8. I've been a supporter of Turner and he has a bright future. Fullarton had a very good game against Port Melbourne a few weeks ago and has been moderate since. If he plays well tomorrow night I would promote him for Disco who needs to regain some confidence at Casey. If Fullarton plays it would mean JVR could stay at home and hopefully build confidence against the Eagles. Chandler clearly playing injured. Give him a rest. I'm also in the AMW camp. He looks classy. If Tholstrup has a cracker tomorrow he might be considered.
  9. There are always isolated examples. I can guarantee that over a long period with teams that swing the changes more often than not lose. Also, making multiple changes early in the season is a different beast to mid season. All teams crave continuity. Having said all that who knows? Hoping for the best!
  10. Underdone legs not to mention team imbalance.
  11. Prior to the Geelong game I was confident. All the love was for the Cats and they were due for a loss. This week we've had all positive media so will need to live up to the hype. 5 day break is a concern although Carlton are coming into their third tough game in a row in 13 days. That is definitely a mitigating factor. Blues are possibly getting a few back also. Reckon we're the better team but we'll need to be at our best. A win would be massive for our season but the Baggers will be desperate to stay in the race and the eight. Team selection could be telling.
  12. Pretty sure 'Loys' were the home delivered crates of soft drink. Loved it! A dozen per week and you got to select the flavours.
  13. Thanks for that. Good news in part although it seems totally incongruous and unfair that we'll still be one short on the list with no avenue to find a replacement.
  14. Pardon my ignorance but because of the absence of Brayshaw and Smith are we eligible for two picks in the MSD? I really hope so. Depth is a worry and developing players desperately need a more competitive Casey.
  15. Hunter more versatile than Billings.
  16. AMW must come under consideration soon. Improving all the time. Silky smooth.
  17. Unless injured I reckon he'll play against Carlton. Replacement for Billings.
  18. Some tough calls to make. 5 day break against a contender is a killer. Feel like we have to go for some fresh legs. Bowey(if fit) I would put straight in. Hunter, Mcadam and maybe Tholstrup could come under consideration. Billings will go. Can Laurie play at Casey tomorrow? Big call but does Windsor need a rest? Certainly think Chandler does with that knee. One thing I'd definitely be doing tomorrow would be to take off the aforementioned players at halftime or soon after. Keep all options open and see how players pull up on Monday. Unfortunately Seagulls will runaway with it but so be it.
  19. Waiting for Rohan to kick the winner.😏
  20. It will really test my loyalty to this game and following AFL should Kalani end up at the Suns. On one hand the AFL, media and football world spruik the romanticism of the notion of a son following in his father's footsteps at his beloved club. On the other, a contrived academy rule can gazump this notion to rob a club the opportunity of recruiting a 'favourite son'. Read Nick Blakey. Make up your mind! It's an absolute farce. To lose a 10+ year potential KP is unpalatable. If the AFL really want F/S to remain it should always take precedence over gluttonous northern academies.
