Now he drops them and people are complaining. Everyone in the team has been training this new plan. Not rewarding forwards who have been performing at Casey wasn't working. At least he's trying something new. He's keeping defence and midfield largely the same for some consistency. Everyone moans about Goody's stubbornness, but when he finally makes a dramatic change everyone complains. He can't win! If we do get a new coach, expect very dramatic changes every week.

I find Libby Birch's comments very interesting. But I doubt she would have much glimpse of what exactly was going on in the men's league, given they are largely separate. I think she's right to call out Gary Pert for all the attention the men's team got - the women's team were exceptional and didn't get half as much attention.

I think this is why we've recruited better ball winners who can play in the midfield. I remember when we drafted Windsor and Kolt and people were dirty we didn't go for forwards. After recruiting HL and XL it definitely seems like we're planning for the future with different players in the middle.
