  1. With Sydney easily beating Collingwood away, our loss to Sydney doesn't look so bad
  2. There's no way Goodwin is telling the players to bomb it in. Rather it's a symptom of our inability to move the ball quickly or efficiently which creates a congested forward line. When there's no free players you have no choice but to bomb it in.

  4. Did anyone else find it weird watching football this time of year? Feels like it's still summer.

The "devil" in Tasmania Devils refers to the animal, not the biblical devil

  8. I've already accepted that it's not happening this year. Something just ain't right
  9. There's only so much bombing to a congested forward line one can watch

  14. I don't think we're going to agree so I'll have to leave it there
  15. But nine new players as dazzledavey36 suggested?
  16. Yeah but dazzledavey36 is suggesting we bring in nine new players who have little to no experience at AFL level
  17. Picking our best team doesn’t mean we falll off the cliff either
  18. Yes it will benefit their development but it means we won't win the premiership next year
  19. But why would we do this? We have to pick our best side and go all in for a premiership while Gawn and May are still at their peak
  20. I said "often" not "always"
  21. Yep. Pointless hypothetical
  22. Best post so far
  23. There's a lot of forward line saviour syndrome around Petty. Defenders that go forward often do well at the start, then they start to struggle.
