  1. Thanks boys for all of your efforts on the Podcast so far this season. This is my favourite Demon's podcast and is a must listen each and every week. The longer the better. It is the highlight of my week. Yes I do have a life but I travel a lot for work and having you guys along for the ride makes the kms fly by. I would love to get the panels thoughts on which player has been the surprise packet of the year and conversely which player has not lived up to expectation (doesn't have to be negative - can be as a result of injury etc)?
  2. We were fantastic and if not for our inaccuracy we should have won that game from anywhere between 4 to 10 goals yet our inaccuracy almost cost us the match. We were the most accurate side in the competition by a country mile in the first 9 rounds yet our inaccuracy in the past 3 to 4 matches has cost us and nearly cost us again. Any thoughts as to why drop off?
  3. We must have been killing it a few weeks back because the last few weeks we’ve been murdered.
  4. A couple of tough matches to tip this week.
  5. Thanks @Demonland for another great interview. A really good insight into all of our defenders and the way we play. Troy seemed were open and honest. Seems like a smart operator.
  6. Absolutely loving the podcast. Knocking them out of the park on a weekly basis. The analysis each weeks helps put the losses and the "ugly" wins into perspective. Would love to get the panels thoughts on Joel Smith's game and whether they think the Dees will persist. Despite not really denting the stats sheet I thought he played his small part.
  7. What has happened to our accuracy in front of goals from set shots? Time to reopen the Chocko Williams Goal Kicking Academy.
  8. Came for some footy talk. Got some financial advice.
  9. I really thought Trent Rivers had an exceptional game. Possibly one of the best he has played for the club. That long range goal was just superb. He should have license to have a ping whenever he is in that position.
  10. I don't have another question for you this week I just wanted to give you a shout out for the wonderful and insightful interview you conducted with Steven May during the week. Steven was very forthcoming and honest in his answers. Kudos to all involved in getting him on the podcast. Love your work.
  11. I thought our forward line was in a bit of a shambles. Is the Petty experiment officially over? Surely Ben Brown has to come back in the team.
  12. Another quality podcast last week guys. With Petty and Spargo presumably out of concussion protocols, TMac & BBB another week at Casey under their belts, Melksham kicking a bag of goals who would want to be a selector? Who's coming in and who's going out?
  13. Future teammates
  14. Loving the show guys. Gets better and better each week. Would love to hear your thoughts on last night’s umpiring. You’re never going to get the rub of the green (or yellow) every week but you hope that the officiating doesn’t impact the result. The umpires really tried their hardest last night to get the Tigers over the line.
  15. Just on the Gather Round what did you make of the crowd for match? Given that the game was a double header most of the crowd was always going to consist of Port supporters for the second match. Andy you called this headline from the NewsCorp: Gather Round sold out claims exposed by vision of empty seats Whilst the article is calling out the AFL for claiming that all 9 games are a sellout when clearly they are not but it's also taking a dig at the Dees and Bombers as if they couldn't fill the stadium. What did you make of the crowd? It sounded as if the Bombers had more fans there. Should the Dees/Bombers have had their own stand alone game?
  16. Really love the podcast guys. It's a must listen every week in my household. Last week you highlighted our accurate kicking for goal and it most definitely has improved under the tutelage of Chocko Williams. How good was Trac's set shot kicking? 2 set shots for 2 goals this week. In previous years those same shots were no certainties. He also nailed a nice set shot last week too. Our set shot kicking overall has been fantastic.
  17. We were all square in the clearances both in the middle and around the ground. I think they smashed us in the 2nd and 3rd in this area coinciding with them whittling down our lead but we evened things out as we put the pedal down. What did you guys think of the battle between these two exceptional midfields?
  18. Absolutely stoked that JVR is getting a call up. I saw someone comment on the Demonland facebook page that the call up might be at the expense of Tommy Mac being out with a foot injury. Yep it was on Facebook so it must be true. I know, I know. But if there is some truth to it we need to cover him and Max being out. Another tall needs to come in otherwise it will leave Benny Brown the lone tall in the forward line at times.
  19. Thank you for answering my questions and I'm glad you guys liked my Avatar.
  20. I found this fantastic website as a result of the podcast and now I'm addicted. I've been just a passive observer reading the website and learning a lot about the tactics of the game from the many posters and you fellas on the podcast. I used to just yell kick the bloody thing but now I know there is more to it than that so thank you Demonland. I still do yell Kick the Bleeping thing but now it's just to vent and release my frustrations. My psychologist says its healthy in moderation. Little does she know that I scream it all bloody game. Anyway my question:-- How do you think the debutants fared on the weekend? Laurie, McVee and you can include Chandler in there too.
  21. LOVE KOZZY but he was always going to be made example of in a week when concussion is on the minds of those at AFL house.
  22. Can you even make 4 changes in 1 week after a massive win albeit pretty big ins ...
  23. Kozzy is an absolute superstar. Max, Trac & Oliver are absolutely elite. Lever is a ROCK in defence. Big Benny Brown with 4 sausages. And both WA teams lose. What a weekend.
