Was it Windy Hill or Princes Park that was reputed to have the longest public urinal in the world i'd seen it but cant remember which ground. I recall some footy diehards being upset when it was dismantled. Where would you put it ffs? In a museum?
-
dees. theyll be focused tonight lions .never trust stkilda swans. hilarious bombers . love to see them go out in Elim final Daicos All stars Hawks. never back Suns again after last week
-
Everyone seems daunted by Geelong. Middle ladder GWS beat them at the cattery a few weeks ago. Dangerfield isnt even playing tomorrow. I will assume Goodwin has taken a very close look at that game.
-
yep, back your players in. Cannot omit Smith or Tommo after their recent winning efforts. No change to team unless Oliver is given green light by medical staff. Petty to VFL for a game or 2. Didnt Bowey get tossed around by cats last year?
-
Agreed, and what prey tell is bullitsh? Quite a few frightened posters on this forum. Australians always seem worried someone might catch feelings.
-
Might not be any changes. Why change a winning team? Couldnt pick a worse venue to make a comeback from injuries. Another week wont hurt. We can win this with or without the three.
-
Woeful crowd 29K at MCG. Bluebaggers really jumped off the wagon this week but they'll all pile on again now they've won a game.
-
Jesus. sounds political. i think I'll put my cue back in the rack on this one.

What TF is a lungkatta?
-
Just wait for some media tool to spout " can Carlton make the 8"
-
Who's brilliant idea was it to play AFL footy in the middle of the desert watched by 5 people 26 dingos and 300 bluetongue lizards? Im assuming we do it for a suitcase full of cash. Probably tax exempt too.
-
Would love to see Norff and Suns get up this arvo. Blueboyz damn lucky they're not playing "oop north" on the goldcoast under humid greasy conditions. Wouldnt back them in a fit.
-
Their defence has no idea. Take a look at highlights 1st qtr. Wouldn't be a single saints player that would be in our top six defenders.
-
No bigee. I am never surprised when any side gets up against StKilda. Were gifted a soft fixture won a few games against flat teams and the media started talking about finals. Clueless knobs.
-
Hopefully this is our last game in the NT . Surely we dont need the cash anymore. Id be very surprised if MFC is the big club up there. Collingwood and Essendon would attract a larger crowd even though they never play there. Whats our win/ loss stat for first game back from the NT? We get a short break on return to play Stkilda. Sometimes we make life hard for ourselves . Pies would only consider playing in AS P if they got a huge break before their return game in Melb. They got 10 days after playing at the Gabba this year!!
-
Lions shouldnt even get finals due to the Gabba being a sub standard provincial cricket ground. Definitely should not be awarded a Prelim with expected crowd of 36K. Imagine the farce if they play Collingwood. Gabba 36000. MCG 90,000. No comparision. AFL is run by amateurs propped up by corporate media. I couldnt care less about all these expansion clubs. Subsidised rubbish.
-
Port is now the true test of the theory that if you peak too early you'll be too banged up by September. Theyre 12-2. Massive mid season bye. Dont play again till July. Some difficult games coming up but can see them finish on 17 or 18 wins definitely top2. Home finals. Must be one of the favourites unless Butters Rozee Wines etc get run over by a bus.
-
StKilda then Carlton premiership player was Val Perovic?
-
Maybe team selectors bring back Bowey and thats about it. One small fwd omitted but JJ Smith Tomo stay put. Tbey've earned it. Petty shouldnt return after a long stretch out and then play at that dreadful Kerak ground down the crusader hwy. Not even convinced Oliver plays. We can and have beaten cats at the cattery.Crowd wont be much of a factor as there wont be many in attendance. If Oliver insists on playing so be it just dont let his hand get anywhere near Hawkins boot. He'll kick it off.
-
Wouldnt be surprised if there is pressure to move it. 70k at the G as a home game would be tempting.
-
This weekends game Blues against the Suns at the G will be MOTR, most of the round is pretty dull with no pies ,bombers ,despicable dees , crows even inform hawks incl. Alot of people will go just to watch them lose. Lucky for them AFL gave them a Vic game not gold coast where they would almost certainly have lost.
-
Carlton are obviously playing brand name players who are out of form or not 100% fit. They cant get out of the 1980's. Their payroll reads like a house of horrors. Might be 5 or 6 Grundy type contracts. Even Collingwood had to move on one player, Carltons got loads of them. They cant sack Voss they'll be a laughing stock. Who would coach them? Maybe Strop.
-
Pick 1 may not want to play for the Eagles especially if hes not from WA. Look what North went through with their No1 pick fleeing after one season. Maybe Eagles will swap No 1 for some lower WA picks.
-
Lions have the softest run through to September of any team. 6 Gabba games mostly easy kills and big % boosters. A couple of winnable games in Melbourne and theyre still a huge chance for top 4. How the hell did we lose to them in the semi last year ffs.
-
Top 2 was never really on the cards even top 4 is a struggle with Coll Port, Lions virtual lock ins. Where would you rather finish 3rd or 5th. 3rd and we likely play Port in SA or 5th and play Essendon or Stkilda at the MCG. Ill take the fifth. If our players are fit and well managed we can win it from there. Lose a top 4 final and you play 4 to win the flag same as 5-8. If Oliver doesnt leave hospital by Sunday as planned then something is going on we're not privy to. You dont get put on a drip in hospital for almost a week because of a blister. In Asia open sores turn septic real fast even gangreneous . In Asia there are people everywhere walking around with limbs missing. Just saying.
