There's a lot of forward line saviour syndrome around JVR. I can't see him doing much this year because he hasn't exactly set the world on fire at Casey.

In 2020 I would of taken a premiership and a wasted era every day of the week

But our forward line could be a major problem again this year. McDonald has been poor since the middle of 2021. Brown appears at the end and ANB and Spargo can't score.

Yeah I'm not convinced because he played on the wing in 2021 and then was playing in defence last year until late July and during contract negotiations he said he wanted to play inside mid. He signed the contract and all of a sudden he played inside mid the very next game and stayed there for the rest of the year.

Won't Brayshaw remain as an inside midfielder as stipulated in his contract?

There's no doubt we have the players but if the coaches can't fix the forward problems they'll be no premiership

It's not possible to make the fixture equal with the current length of the season. It can only be equal if everyone plays each other twice, home and away.

Interestingly the current NFL in America resulted in the merger of two leagues the NFL and the AFL but premierships in both competitions carried over to the new competition, but a lot of people don't really count those premierships. Success tends to be evaluated based on the post merger era, reffered to as "The Superbowl Era"
