  1. We've already asked wce. They haven't even made an offer. And it doesn't matter what their best offer is bc LJ doesn't seem to want to go there.
  2. Tom Browne: there has been progress in the trade Also Browne: Melbourne asked for a f2 and freo said no. Huge progress.
  3. It's just not possible. Fremantle is not going to bend over backwards to get a top 10 pick for a guy who's ooc and they can realistically get for two firsts. We're gonna get screwed over badly
  4. Figured it was more related to port and jhf
  5. FWIW, their first offer was 13 + F1 WITH a second or third coming back their way
  6. I think if any 2nd is involved it will be ours going their way. Is there an example of a player being traded for multiple firsts without a second going back?
  7. In a way, LJ saying he's open to any WA club puts us at a disadvantage doesn't it? If he only nominated fremantle then the PSD is not real because he obviously has no desire to go to WC. By keeping both clubs open he's saying, accept a deal with fremantle, or I'm happy to go to WC, but only in the PSD. I know there's all the talk about how he wouldn't do that to the club etc. but when push comes to shove he'll chose his own wellbeing over his ex employer.
  8. Unfortunately think we'll have to settle for 13 + F1 with some later (3rd/4th round) pick swaps.
  9. Geelong. Very hard to deal with this trade period. Trying to get henry and bruh while refusing to part with 7 or 18.
  10. I don't think North F2 will end up with us at all tbh. I also don't think freo trade away Lobb, and 20 for an 8 place rise when it's going straight to us. They have the upper hand in this trade and they know it.
  11. Yeah I'm well aware of those personal reasons. But from what I've heard they've been around since last year too.
  12. I saw an article from their list manager about lobb yesterday. Basically said "if you're so desperate to get to Vic there's 9 other clubs stop pushing them away" I have a feeling if dogs don't budge they'll force him to explore his options and find another club that will pay more. Interestingly also said that there was actually no offer made from GWS last year so that trade request wasn't actually real.
  13. My favourite is Lloyd Meek. 24 year old who's been on the list for 5 years and has played 15 games and they're not letting him go for anything less than a second rounder.
  14. Yeah I don't. It's all for show I reckon. If he really was happy to go to west coast we would have offers from them by now. Instead all we have is the WC list manager more or less saying they're still trying (and failing) to convince LJ to join them, hence why no offer has been made.
  15. Lobb is not a top 20 pick at all. But if you're a team with a dog**** forward line and you feel like you can still challenge next year then you're better of keeping him unless you're get a first rounder back. They've got teenagers in Treacy and Amiss as their only other KPFs so Lobb staying lets them develop another year without having to play on the best defender. I actually think Lobb would be perfect for us for the next few years. Definitely think we're a better chance with him than Grundy. I think there is close to zero chance they accept anything less than a first rounder for him.
  16. Where is the 19 coming from? They already have 13, F1, and 20ish next year. If they wanted to offer that they already would. Don't think this will be dependent on the Lobb trade at all.
  17. Well I mean if the current offer for Lobb is only pick 30 then how would that help us at all? Dogs have pick 11 and 30. They're not gonna give 11 for lobb. Don't see how there's anyway freo can get the Lobb deal done until dunkley is done.
  18. Because they know anything they get from that deal will go straight to us. And also bc dogs only offered 30 for him so they'd rather keep him another year.
  19. Still waiting for WC to make an offer. Lamb said he was going to have meetings with WC a couple days ago and no potential offer has come out of that. Even the proposed pick splits (2 --> 8 and ports F1) don't seem to help us at all.
  20. Only 15 for a b&f winner who is in his prime is just pure disrespect lol. And then trading it away for a few seconds. They're not even trying.
  21. Wc will still have pick 2 in the psd
  22. Only think making me feel slightly better about these negotiations so far is that dogs are getting shafted so much worse. 26 year old who just won their b&f and Brisbane aren't even offering a first for him.
  23. Even if he needs to stay in WA and doesn't play a single game for them, they're still going to be turning a nothing pick into at least one first rounder.
  24. Just on that - the future 2 is right after Norths pick. So the highest it could be is pick 20. NM would still have 19 if they finished bottom.
  25. Plenty of outgoing players too. Surely they could've factored this deal in when they were making their other trades? Instead the only thing of note they have from three players leaving is Norths PP2nd
