  1. I'm with you Steve but there will be a decent measure of misery for the loser.
  2. I'd be keen to see you take that up with Brendan McCartney.
  3. I realise it's highlights but he appears to have an agile sidestep that Hunt lacks and looks strong on both sides. Hunt is not going to take us there, We should delist him, and I do think somone will pick him up and gve him a go - good luck to him.
  4. Hinkley is in his 8th year and no flag. Port lost the PF by 6 points - by your simple logic today he's sacked.
  5. I find that very hard to believe with King, Marshall, Ryder and Membery
  6. So you're sacking Ken Hinkley today?
  7. Good pace and agility. Nice kicking skills on both sides. Went back with the flight. Good highlights.
  8. Yes he doesn't show metres gained attributes with run and kicking depth, has strong turnover tendencies and he needs to be harder at the contest. I'm willing to give him a year to see but I wouldn't blink if he was delisted.
  9. Yes Baker is worth persevering with on the list but I don't want to be relying on him to hold down a wing next year.
  10. I don't rate Baker. We need either Smith or Phillips.
  11. Look everyone's tradable. My starting position is Cripps, Weitering, McKay, Walsh, pick 7 and 2021 1st rounder. Every day they don't accept add another player. Am i doing it right Adrian?
  12. Port v Brisbane GF please. Richmond v Geelong - too horrible to contemplate
  13. He has sufficient AFL traits to play 81 AFL games including every game as a KPB in 2018, our most successful recent season. As I've posted earlier in the thread, he does have deficiencies but they are magnified in some supporters minds because they often occur on the last line and result in opposition goals. FTR, I totally agree with the idea that it's time for him to move on from MFC. Are you taking up my bet?
  14. KPB depth. He's not as bad as people make out here. He's a 24yo one club KPD with further development available, another club is likely to back their development capabilities, for better or worse MFC's are not generally regarded as state-of-the-art. It wouldn't surprise me if he goes on to play 150 AFL games. If he goes to another club you can buy a membership at that club - let's see how "guaranteed" you really think it is that he won't.
  15. I expect him to be DFA and on another AFL club's list next year - let's see who's right.

It seems pretty clear Jamie Elliott used MFC to up his offer at Collingwood last year. It's reasonably common.

    Jamie Elliott?
  18. Have you ever been on national television setting role model behaviour for young men?
  19. I think our current inclusions stack up OK against Carlton and St.Kilda so far. Hibberd, Melksham, Lever, May, Preuss, Langdon and Tomlinson. I expect we'll add at least 2 more this year.
  20. I don't think it really changes your good argument
  21. Sidebottom and Daicos.
  22. That's great input @Axis of Bob - just an observation - it looks like the top graph is goals CONCEDED not scored by those teams, if so for example the Port Adelaide tall data is not indicative of Dixon, it's indicative of their undersized defence.
  23. It's the mother of black holes, but they have some promising youth. It's going to be a tough grind at a bad time to be down.
  24. So North should hang on to Ben Brown and finish 15th for the next 3 years rather than 18th and sacrifice the draft pick they'll get for him in the trade, the drop in draft picks they'll experience from finishing marginally higher and the salary cap space they can use to front load their young players with and use in a few years when they are on the up with the rebuild? They do have other mature players to provide leadership through this period like Cunnington, Ziebell, Goldstein and Tarrant so it's not like what MFC did in our previous failed rebuild.
