Question: Would you trade the Hawthorn win of two weeks ago for a victory over Essendon and one today over the Blues? We'd be even with North on points, but we wouldn't have seen that groundbreaking win against the most-hated of hated flogs Hawthorn.

It really didn't. He stood exactly where he was and realised only too late that he wasn't in the right spot. He still would have marked it if he'd jumped at the right time.

We've been shocking this game, but the response and frustration from players like Gawn, Hogan, Vince, Clarry and others shows me that this team has the hard core that even the finals Dees of the Daniher years didn't have.

Clint Bizket currently pulling his hair out as Bernie doesn't get back off the mark. Oliver marks and gets the fifty. This kid is an absolute team-lifting gem of a player.

The first 10 minutes of every quarter is the Blues because of their speed. The second half is our because of our endurance. We need to maximise that.

Stretch needs to change his boots. For a bloke whose strength is his agility, he has the turning circle of a truck today.

Fair to say I'm not happy with that first quarter. We pegged it back a little there at the end, but considering what's potentially at stake for us today we're just going nowhere near the right intensity.

Stretch has panicked a couple of times today. He's been great this year but awful today. Nearly cost us two goals today already. Also, can Bernie Vince be moved on to Gibbs or Cripps for a hard tag?

Our forwards are just jogging out of our forward fifty while the blues bolt out when they get it. Lazy.

Pedersen out and our forward structure goes to shite once again. He's much more important than most realise.
