  1. C'mon Jesse. Get your back up. Get your touch back mate. ...Nope... But then marks another and Maxy shows how it's done. Good mark Gawn!
  2. Commentators shouldn't be praising Sloane for ignoring medical advice. Ohh Jesse...
  3. And Hogan finally gets a mark. Good on you son! Keep it up demons. 4 goal loss is a win tonight.
  4. That was a fantastic passage of play from Hannan and ANB there. Haven't seen that kind of dare come off for us all night.
  5. Hoges can't even mark uncontested. He's just not up to it at the moment. I can't blame him with all he's been through, but he isn't really helping the team right now.
  6. The bottom line is tonight there are 8 points up for grabs. We've already let 4 slip. Lose by a large margin and we've let another 4 slip as well. We can't afford to do that, so there's still heaps to play for.
  7. Falling away again here. Not good. We were in it but just hanging on a moment ago. Now we're gawn.
  8. Kent is just awful. For a ground level player, he has no 1-touch ability. He was so good in his first couple of years but that is long gone now.
  9. No matter what happens in this match, we can't get blown out. Nobody would expect us to win this match, but we need our good percentage to stay that way. It could be the difference between making the 8 and not, or between getting a home final or heading interstate. Plugger Melksham now on 3 goals!
  10. If we weren't already 5 goals down I'd say McGovern's miss was a massive letoff for us. Looks like Jeffie's hammy is ok again. He and Melksham look like our most dangerous forwards.
  11. End to end over and over for the Crows. Nup. We're gone.
  12. If we can go into half-time less than 30 points down I'll still give us a chance of clawing things back. 30+ and it's probably going to be blowout city in these conditions.
  13. Can't believe Hogan didn't take that. He's been through a lot, but he hasn't given us much in his couple of games back.
  14. Am I the only one who thinks Vince's first one was way worse than his second?
  15. Now if we get another couple we're back in the game. Bear in mind we came back from 28 points down to win by 40 points against this mob last time.
  16. Rewatching the last time we met, we're 28 points down at their home ground before half-time. HTF did we win this game?
  17. I had a dream last night that we were getting smashed by the Crows. But it was at the MCG so I’ll take that as a sign we’re better off being in Darwin. As a Melbourne supporter who spent his first 6 years of life in Darwin and surrounding areas before moving to Brisbane and then finally to Melbourne when I was 8 (being indoctrinated into the cult of the Demon by my grandfather just in time for my heart to be broken by Essendon in 2000), I’m stoked to be supporting a club that plays a game each year in what still feels like my home state after all these years. Surely our pre-season training camp and expertise on this ground, coupled with our good performance against the Crows earlier in the year will hold us in good stead tonight. I’m hopeful but pessimistic, as any sane Melbourne supporter should be.
  18. St. Kilda...talk about a club drinking their own bathwater.
  19. Maybe he's a robot in disguise...
  20. This wasn't a mistake. James Hird didn't "accidentally" inject his players with banned drugs.
  21. Crows running away with it now, but make no mistake unless we get a few back next week against the blues will be tricky.
