Loving Garlett's creativity tonight. Doesn't get it a lot, but really opens things up when he does. 2 goal assists already.

I rewatched the Bulldogs-Essendon 2000 game this morning and the quality of footy and commentary in that game just leaves the modern game for dead. The AFL needs to go back to that.

Swap Jones with Goodwin. Win-win IMO. Jones can't coach, which means the players will play naturally. Goodwin's probably still faster than Nathan, so we gain an extra runner (and on-field coach, aka a "captain"). It could catch on….

Hope the players run through a banner of that next week.

Viney and Jones are trying very hard, which is positive. I firmly believe our only problem is structure. Goodwin has 3 years to sort that out. He better do it a lot quicker than that. Also, we need May, Lever, Lewis back like no man's business.

We have the WORST defensive structure in the history of AFL footy.

If we lose possession of the ball in our forward half, you can pretty much bank an opposition goal at this stage. It's actually ridiculous.
