Yeah you'll be able get tickets for all five tomorrow, probably up in Q.

9am tomorrow.
-
Yeah definitely don't share the barcode then. I'd buy a ticket for someone else for the PF, avoiding the need to share the barcode number with anyone.
-
Yep, everyone at 10am tomorrow, however priority one members get exclusive access to purchase category one and two seating. I think the barcode is the same for the whole year in season, but changes every year. The barcode you had in 2021 won't be valid.
-
Thankfully it’s staggered this year. Collingwood v. Melbourne on sale at 12 on the Tuesday, Carlton v. Sydney and St. Kilda v. GWS on sale at 12 on the Wednesday.
-
Pretty sure there is a 50/50 split for club member allocations.
-
There was no priority last year. All members had ticket access at the same time, whether GA or reserved seat. Below was the email I got last year before the Swans QF, as a GA member.
-
Thanks so much for the code @FearTheBeard. Just got a couple of tickets.
-
Tickets are on sale for the Geelong game at 2pm today. Does anyone know if there’s any provision for away fans? I remember last year something about a promo code to unlock tickets for an away bay.
-
@Rodney (Balls) Grinter as of last night there’s still some single seats available for purchase by home and away members.

By remaining civilised we deny the 23 wearing the red and blue an extra hand. Crowd noise must help a team with motivation and momentum (particularly in the final quarter) and possibly help with umpiring calls. I've been to many Collingwood games in the past 12 months and I'm very jealous of the influence they can have and the atmosphere they create. If we can be just 10 or 20% less civilised we would be helping the team out. I don't think that being reserved is at all a good supporter trait.
-
I agree with you. KB’s not exactly an 8-point game anymore since they’re 12 points ahead of us. As sweet as it would be to see them off, it’s just another four points on offer. I’ve read elsewhere here a theory that we have been doing extra training (trying to avoid the L-word) in preparation for the Collingwood game. I don’t understand why we would do this, since every game is worth the same amount for a win. All you here from the footy department is that every week is just another game with 4 points on offer, so wouldn’t we try to make sure our output is as even as possible in all 23 games?

Nathan Buckley was in the Dockers' coaches box during the game. If he is a silent observer then fine, but if he is providing counsel in any way to Longmuir then what nonsense. He's not paid under Freo's soft cap and it's not fair on us to have him providing his expertise to the team. It's akin to having two senior coaches for the day. As an aside, we're 1-3 as Narrm. Can we drop the name or find a different indigenous name for 2024? Feels like some kind of a curse.
-
Yeah for sure. All the publicity has been about how the match is a sellout so many won't even look, or worse some GA members might have missed the communication and turn up on game day thinking they'll be able to enter the ground. Where did these seats come from anyway? Reserved seat members?
-
It was mentioned earlier here or on the ticketing thread, but I just wanted to stress the point that tickets are still available for GA members. On Ticketek select 'Club Members & Public Reserve', enter your membership barcode/s, hit unlock tickets then a pop-up appears and select 'Melbourne Supporter Allocation'. Still a handful of seats available in the bays highlighted in the image below. Mostly single seats, but some pairs of seats still available together. It's only a sellout for the general public.
-
For the AFL members on here, how did you go with getting KB tickets? Very happy with M16, since it's right next to the Melbourne members reserved seats I believe, and as far away as possible from the city end!
-
Not many have the opportunity to. Most people work where they’ve always lived, and who could blame them? Families are better together. Jackson put his hand up in the draft in 2019 and had no say on where he would be going. He’s given us three years, he’s seen out his contract. As a premiership player for us, I’ll still love him and wish him all the best back west.

Obviously very frustrating and embarrassing to go out in straight sets. How good did we look for that two minute window with Petty up forward? Unfortunately Goody and the match committee didn’t have the courage to make the call at selection either this or last game, or in the last few rounds. The lack of taking a punt on JVR or Smith, or even throwing Smith on tonight or against the Swans will haunt us over summer. In the end we just didn’t seem hungry enough for another one. We thought that winning a flag at home would be motivation plenty; instead we buckled at the G under immense pressure during big games in the season and finals. Very disappointing to see fans leaving when we were 20 points down. I understand the logistics of trying to beat the crowd and it being a late night but for me we need to stay until the end, and support the boys that put their bodies on the line and make us the team that we are today. When the siren went I stood up in the front row of M13 and clapped the players that were nearby. I was thanking them for the immense joy they provided us last year (in such dark and challenging times for our city) and for the efforts this year. Bring on 2023, can’t wait to see us again.
-
If weather permits it'll be shown to the Shane Warne wing right? Looks stunning!
-
It feels a bit like that for me as well. The cliches of needing luck and the health of the list being so important to win a flag come to mind. We had such a dream run injury-wise last year and it hasn’t quite been the same in 2022. That being said, we’re still in it and if we can find a way past Brisbane, then it’ll be two out of our skins performances needed to go back to back.

Boring but sensible. Classic Goody

Particular shoutout to Gus, Mayzie, Fritta, Salo, Viney and Brown for being so generous with their time and signing and taking photos with the fans.

No VFL boys there today. I guess they’ll do a captain’s run at Casey tomorrow for the Saturday prelim. The guys out there today strongly suggests there’ll be no changes, though JVR a very minor chance. Bowey wasn’t there so he’s definitely not replacing Salem. A couple of guys murmured that number 5 was looking good for having a broken leg. Feeding into the stereotype by calling him number 5! I met a 50-year member called Greg, who was telling me the future and importance of having a home base right near the MCG. Said that we might build something when the GSS/Warne Stand gets replaced and a social club and facilities could be built over the rail line. Good to meet you mate, in the off chance you’re on here.

About 9:50, got in 10:25. Also bought tickets to Pies Dockers for an 11:00 window. Logged on at 10:58, in at 11:03! Seems completely random/lucky dip wait times.
