Seriously, mouthguard advancememts were just starting to take of, in the late 70ts 80ts and 90 ts I hated wearing one , but after years of gobbing of cheap shots toward opposition, they all wanted to give me a face full of fives! So started wearin one and after each effort you would be puffing and huufin, snortin and really struugling to breath. As Result if I had a ping on goal, Mouthguard was taken out placed in rim of sock and Whammo another Fence "Magic" Goal! Gee what great memories! Hope that clarrifies my take on Mouthguards!
