Now to break the longest drought in the AFL at the moment. (aside from Gold Coast) Something we haven't done since 1991.

They're confident because their set of supporters have seen their club beat our club 10 of the last 13 times at the MCG, the most recent being this year.

Pies were coming off back to back 6 day breaks when we played them I was disappointed we ran out of legs in that game.

If Geelong are half serious this year they comprehensively beat the team that gave up 8 goals in a quarter to Carlton yesterday.

Very happy with Friday night. Much better than Thu night. If we lose I believe our semi final will also be Friday night.

I reckon they’ve done a last minute swap with our game and the Cats V Pies, hence the delay, to allow Papley out of protocols. Our game from Thursday night to Friday night. Just a theory.

If Collingwood lose to Geelong then we’d play winner the the Pies and Freo/Dogs semi final. Assuming we win week 1.

Since the Thursday night final was introduced in 2016, they’ve never had a MCG final in the Saturday twilight slot. Thursday or Saturday night for mine.

I can’t see a scenario where we have to leave VIC, given we have two guaranteed home finals, and if we lose week 1, Geelong or Collingwood will be waiting for us in a prelim if we win week 2. How exciting!!
