Gus is having a great year down back...! In great form and I believe is yet to hit his peak. That’s scary...! He would be leading the Brownlow if he was a permanent midfielder... So put him on ball ASAP...! It would be a shame if this didn’t happen.

Gus is a contested ball and clearance player... Needs to be placed at centre bounces and stoppages. I agree he is great in defence and on the wing... But if we are going to win the Premiership we need to dominate clearance and get first use to our forwards. Defending after repeat opposition entries will not hold up. To answer he question, who does he replace. I think Petracca can play more of a forward role and rotate with Viney. Oliver and Angus to get most midfield minutes.

Carlton and Fremantle's midfield has gone to another level of dominance and depth... If the Dees are going to challenge for a Premiership. I am adamant Gus has to be playing predominantly as a midfielder. He can dominate this position. He is the Dees trump card...!

We need to keep Sparrow. Is going to have a great career and can see him playing a permanent midfield role at the Dees. I wouldn’t even entertain trading him. Not even for a top 5 pick, a Cerra or Neale! Extend his contract again now please! ASAP

Dees definitely need to fill the Full Forward position with a player of the ilk of Tayla Harris. She would be a great addition to the team. Still young and has plenty of footy to go... 150k is a big ask atm, but could be somewhat negotiable and performance based. I believe the MFC could make something work if it doesn’t disrupt our current playing list. The AFL should allow marketing money outside the salary cap for the AFLW, especially if football is secondary and there statue in there main sport is of great marketability and importance the greater sport. Eg. Boxing ? I believe the AFLW will introduce something to allow this in the near future. Or see them lose this type of player. Football injuries especially in the AFLW can be quite detrimental to there long term careers. They need to be looked after...! The AFLW has been of great success and players need to be rewarded. There are no excuses from the AFL to support this as the AFLW is fixtured to be a standalone setup with great growth and marketability to come.
