NON-MFC: Round 18, 2022
NORF!!!

Farewell Luke Jackson
Lobb is worth a third rounder. Off to the Dogs anyway.

NON-MFC: Round 18, 2022
HQ would like North, Carlton, Sydney, Port and Gold Coast to win. 6 teams on 48, 1 on 44 and 8th spot still open with 5 teams on 36 points.

NON-MFC: Round 18, 2022
That is something that will never happen. Umps like Collingwood as they do Carlton and the Dogs.

NON-MFC: Round 18, 2022
[censored] are probably destined to win the flag. Every week they fluke their way to close wins.

NON-MFC: Round 18, 2022
Saints should win. As someone has said, Crows have a real chance of knocking off the Pies.

Farewell Luke Jackson
Yet if Luke was at Collingwood they would be saying 3 first rounders or no deal.

Farewell Luke Jackson
The only disruption is to supporters crying about losing a player - the club is fine and would have plans in place for any scenario.

PODCAST: Rd 17 vs Geelong
Listened to the rest on the way home. Geez Andy got even more fired up. Cussing and shouting. I would recommend watching 100-7 to calm down a little.

In Season - Loading/Periodisation: Put your conjecture here.
For some, it is the end of the world if we lose any game. Others it gives strength to - you never see them when we win.

NON-MFC: Round 17, 2022
I'm not saying intentionally influencing ladder positions, but the opportunity is there for some teams (Carlton and Collingwood as I have mentioned) to benefit from the good run provided by the umps. It could be as simple as the umpires' coaches mentioning to umpires that certain players are being regularly held in marking contests and to be aware of it. McKay and Curnow the obvious ones. Clarry and Josh Kelly get held at every stoppage but rarely get frees for it. Guess the umpires coaches don't talk about it.

NON-MFC: Round 17, 2022
This. Umpiring does impact ladder positions. Carlton and Collingwood getting help on this front. Sometimes teams aren't good enough to take advantage of the help though. But it's there. Dogs have had it for years. Things like the rule of the week have influence too.

Not rigged, but at least an element of manipulation

NON-MFC: Round 17, 2022
Their luck will run out. What a bunch of cheats, ducking for frees all day. Sadly they are being umpired to the top 4.

NON-MFC: Round 17, 2022
Norf are gone already. Pies will win by 30.

CASEY: Rd 16 vs Geelong
Umpires know only one direction to point. Must want their car keys back.
