  1. Definitely the messaging seems to be moving back to what is perceived to be more sympathetic ground. Only after what appears to to be the true intention backfired. If he's going the club should take the best offer regardless of trading partner. Do feel the messaging around the lack of support by the board, coaches, players etc is to force the club to accept whatever Blues or Pies offer, ably assisted by Morris and Maclure putting their 'gossip' out there (thanks Maxy).
  2. Well not really. What was said was that Trac's issues had been mentioned a few times. Media mention 3 at lunch and 3 players talking anonymously and everyone falls for 'oh it was the same 3'. So many fail to think.
  3. When did we turn into BomberBlitz?
  4. None of them will want to give up anything near fair value, and their media mates will run supportive articles offering up us a bag of spuds.
  5. Definitely prefer Langford or Lalor.
  6. Yet, given how exposed all players are to the total AFL fanbase, the increase in publicity and folowers is probably marginal.
  7. There are some on here that would like us to permanently move in a 2008-2013 loop.
  8. As posted recently, we won a flag and moved into the middle tier with Hawthorn and Geelong. Big mistake. Pies, Blues etc don't want anyone getting near them in terms of media clout, supporter numbers, crowds etc. We also don't have anywhere near the many media friends they have so any faux pas not immediately shut down by their mates after a phone call from the President.
  9. They won't stop until we are back to 2013 standard.
  10. Sadly it seems some on here want us to fold, or at the very least be in a terminal loop of 2008 to 2013. Sacking everyone achieves nothing. It would please the media though. As would all our best players leaving, but only to the clubs they follow of course.
  11. I don't think they talked about the meeting, just that Trac's issues had been mentioned multiple times. It's written to make it look like Max, Vines and Spaz all talked to the media.
  12. So what's the answer? Just sack all off-field employees and the board?
  13. I don't think that refers to the meeting on Saturday, but that the grievances have been mentioned several times.
  14. It was at a restaurant. Could have been anyone
  15. This interests me. What is not enough? Say if the club was asked to give Christian space for say the first few days or a week. No doubt he got messages, voicemails etc. Given he was in isolation, maybe everyone respected this. None of any of it makes sense.
  16. Isn't there being two sets of management the issue? Robbie D'Orazio said forget when asked if a trade could be possible, but we are. So it has to be the brand management driving this, and they would not be as well versed how the AFL works. Trashing the club might work in other realms, but the AFL is a small (in terms of employees and employers) industry and 'nuclear' options are not encouraged.
  17. Only Carlton's lawyer could win at the Grievance Tribunal. Have to say whoever is pushing that as a course of action needs to rethink.
  18. Wrong jersey colour
  19. The media want us to accept whatever [censored] gets offered up by one of their favourite clubs. If it was the reverse we would be expected to pay a king's ransom. No more than extra recruiters for Collingwood etc.
  20. They were probably sitting on their $1 farm wondering what to do. There was a post about how Trac asked would a trade be possible and his manager (Robbie DOrazio?) said forget it. Guess his people decided the nuclear path had to be implemented?
  21. I'd be wanting more than that. Cerra.
  22. Maybe our culture is spot on.
  23. But with McKay, Cerra and Carlton's first, which we could give to Port for Houston along with a second. Bang - contenders.
  24. Have to laugh at Carlton fans potting St Kilda because they didn't lay down and let the Blues win. What a bunch of entitled water bottle throwing wankers. Don't like the Lions but hope they tear Carlton a new one.
  25. Lalor or Langford unless Jagga slides.
