  1. Absolutely. The 'supporters' clearly have to find fault in anything to make them forget about their own inadequacies. Sad really.
  2. Yet still nothing on list sizes. At least Dangerfield knows how long his holiday is.
  3. Would have had Papley in front of Butler if picking one of them.
  4. Who does our opposition analysis? Saw Matt Rendell on Open Mike the other night and he used to do this for the club. He sure knows his footy and is out of a job at the moment.
  5. So much jumping at shadows. Must be a few on here who sleep with the light on. Can't see Trac or Clarry going anywhere. McClure just fishing for someone to go to his beloved Blues. Too many journos think they are recruiters for the club they support.
  6. Starting price would be first round pick, or second round and a player.
  7. He was not drafted until he was 21, so only 7 years in the system. I would think he has at least 4 years left. Would they offload Polec and Brown for a second round pick? Guess how much salary we are prepared to take on would be a factor?
  8. Media think every player is going to a big club. Clickbait, nothing more.
  9. Good point in the podcast this week about how journos only ever have players on the move going to 'big' clubs.
  10. The club (players, coaches etc) is never exactly the same from one year to the next is how I read it. List turnover and coaching changes.
  11. Umpires have been looking after Collingwood ever since mid-2018 when the Channel 7 boss said he would like them to be 'up and about'.
  12. No pre-season has to have an impact on this.
  13. Surely it has to be both as the circumstances require. Like the EPL where most teams play out from the back and either wait for an opportunity or just thump it down the middle depending on the structure ahead. No point getting rid of one entirely. Also, yes to Gunston. Would not mind Isaac Smith too.
  14. Still think the contract for next season is the best option. It has been blown out of proportion due to the political nature of anything COVID related.
  15. Totally agree. My point was people say the Dogs turn up every week and give 100%. This is not the case.
  16. The revisionism about the Bulldogs is hilarious. How tenacious were they when being thumped by 50 by Carlton? Or Collingwood? They needed a [censored] score review to get them in a position to have a chance of finals. We made progress this year and to say otherwise suggests an agenda or blinkered view. I'm not happy we missed finals but we are not far off, and I expect to be there next year.
  17. Normally a season where we beat Collingwood, Essendon, St Kilda, North Melbourne and Hawthorn would be considered fantastic. Also, who would have thought a dodgy score review in Round 16 would completely shape the season for us, West Coast and the Dogs. Eagles finish 3rd and we finish 8th. This is when the Dogs became the favourites of the umpires, if they were not already - https://www.theage.com.au/sport/afl/western-bulldogs-coach-luke-beveridge-labels-criticism-of-umpires-disgusting-20160510-goqugd.html What we need for next season is a quality key forward, and outside mid and replacing all the assistant coaches. goody and Richo stay.
  18. Amazing it hosed down in both our games, and the Dogs get perfect conditions. [censored].
  19. Will watch tomorrow night for Supercoach purposes, then the season can get [censored]. Not watching finals if we are not in them.
  20. Teams are so regimented they keep kicking backwards and sideways even when behind. Coaches have killed the game.
  21. Just need to settle and wait for the club to do what they need to. No point being hanging judges not knowing everything.
  22. Pretty sure they were there yesterday. That's how it works for everyone else.
