Having watched Casey today, have no qualms bringing in Hibberd. Ultimate team man that does team first things all day long. Even at 3/4 time huddle was giving his two cents worth. Woey to have a spell, or Jordon.

Kudos to Petty, now you need to bring that intensity every week. Max since he has gone solo has stepped up big time, big clap skipper. Viney tough ba$tard and is driving expectations. Trac I am always calm when he is near the ball, you know he is going to give you something. Thought our first half tackles weren’t sticking, area I think we could lift big time. Tigers were good, but we are competitive and giving ourselves one hell of a chance leading into finals.

Hard to get a read on performances in very ordinary conditions. Pig been playing down back, had a few touches that quarter. Shack played a bit of ruck that quarter. Briefly spoke to T Mac at quarter time, said ankle feeling good and was out training this morning before the game. I asked if he’ll be back for finals and said hope so. He’s quite a big man up close. Dogga Brown here watching his son play, had a nice tackle on the wing that quarter. Needs to put on some bulk though which is understandable.

Lever did some silly/undisciplined acts which cost us goals. The deliberate out of bounds was clear, gotta be smarter than that. Then the downfield in the last cost another goal. Then May and Lever beaten by Tex, who kicks another goal. Gotta tidy this stuff up. Unconvincing win, but as others have said, we are at least competitive week in week out. Bring on Tigers.

Stiff I agree, just would like him to succeed and do enough to keep his place. Think it frees up Lever to float and intercept, which is his thing and benefits us greatly.

If worst case we lose (yes it can happen eg Giants, Freo etc), the only benefit is it helps the DEATH RIDE! 😝

Think we are all shell shocked. Didnt look a chance. Brisbane stopped, we took advantage of it. Liked the 1 ruckman set up. Max played well solo. Still think we are too slow. But well done boys 👍👍👍
