Like May Petracca is a champion. But he has lost interest in the club and that is the time a ruthless club would find the best deal for him. Last year we couldn’t because it would have burned the club down and we would have had no leverage. This year I feel we are far better placed. New Coach, staff, President and CEO. Let reset and contend as fast as we can, because a club like us can’t afford to be down for too long. -
In my opinion, you can see May is pretty close to the end. He’s more interested in playing golf than getting hid body fit, he’s lost a yard and the system that suited/covered his weaknesses is now not in play anymore. He was an absolute champion for us, one of the main reasons we won that 2021 Flag and the way he played that GF with a 6-9cm tear in his hamstring shows just how tough he is. He’ll forever be a Demon and deserves to be respected on the way out!
