Also, I know he is abit of an “almost man” but my god AJ competes with everything he’s got. It’s refreshing to see a mature age player attacking every loose ball like he is playing for his rent! I think we are a better team with him in it. We need to keep playing AJ until he feels he belongs and then he’ll start taking those marks & kicking a couple of goals a game!

Evening fellow Demonlanders! Goodwin said in his post game presser that we don’t have any spots open for the mid year draft.. Is this neglect or arrogance? We have 2 (McAdam & AMW) players listed with Season ending injuries. We would be mad not you put 1 if not both of them on the Long Term Injury List & go after the best of the rest! We could do alot worse than putting Riley Bonner on our list as depth or trying to pluck another fwd be that mid/key size. Good clubs pick up gems in the mid year draft.

Both Sharp & Spargo are no good. Maybe charlie finds form but he is neither here nor there. Sharp just can’t finish.. He is the wish version of Jayden Hunt!

It’s clear to me we have three massive problems to fill in the offseason. High Performance Coach (Griffiths) Skills Coach (Williams) Forward Coach (Chaplin) Football Operations (Richardson) All 4 have to go. Hopefully the rumours are true and Bartel is coming to replace Richardson. If thats the case, the club needs to throw the farm at Tom Hawkins to be the forwards coach. We need to get a Fitness coach that can get us fit! And I’m not sure what Choco has done post 21 but it’s been two fifths of [censored] all. A week is a long time in football. Lets Petty, Melk & Viney come back in at the expense of Jeffo, Fristch & Oliver. I love Clarry, but he looks like he is towing a caravan.

I’m not buying that performance from Fritsch, nothing has changed, he just kicked a couple of goals. A good team will run off him and expose his lack of pressure without the ball. Question, did Fritsch’s presence lessen Fullerton’s impact leading up at the ball? TBH I’d rather Melk in the team over Fritsch on this years current form.

(Including tonight) Melb and hawthorn play the exact same teams as each other over the next 3 rds. The only way forward for Goodwin and is new style of play is to win the next 3. If we win the next 2 and get belted by the Hawks, he’ll still be in trouble I reckon.
