Clarko as runner again
-
Succession planning seems to work best when the coach dictates it themselves like Paul Roos did. It doesn't work so well when egotistical Presidents move on premiership coaches. Well done Eddie and Jeff.
-
Clarko Curse has a nice ring too it.
-
Do you know if we are doing higher loads leading into the finals to build maximum fitness only to pull right back once we get there like we did under Daniher?
-
Hopefully we get better umpires.
-
6 -Jsyden Hunt 5 - Clayton Oliver Every other player needs to understand these two can't just drag us over the line every time the game is in the balance
-
I seem to recall Dermie running through the bombers team huddle ooking for a fight. Stomping on someone's head. Calling a line in the sand. But Bailey Fritch is walking a fine line?
-
We are also top of the ladder. The most important stat is winning.
-
Hopefully all our matches against bottom sides get scrapped. It's lucky you only play top 8 sides in the finals.

@dimmy - learn to count

BBB - eat some meat

Put a sock in it. Or anything that rhimes with that.

I thought he was saying he puts the extra 10% or mayo on when he commentates a Saturday night game and then has to report on in the following morning on The Sunday Footy show and doesn't want to just say the same thing (hello Dermie)

Cracking interview, very insightful. At the very end Kane says I love your story. Excuse the naivety but what's your story?

I've been thinking that for a while but now their 4 time premiership coach has been moved on he doesn't have much incentive to tank. -
Which MFC player have you met personally?

I came out of The Vacluese hotel now known as The Richmond Social after a long lunch quite a few years ago now and noticed Gawny getting a hair cut on Swan St. I walked in and politely asked the barber to leave his beard. Maxy gave me a thumbs up and was appreciative of the gesture. -
Big roar for our boys after another great win!

Strange times when I'm more worried about not being allowed to go to the grand final than I am of the demons making it. -
Another reason we probably don't play Max in the hot spot and bomb it to him is because that's where he misses them from. I love Max but I hate it when he has a kick directly in front close to goal. We may as well just set up our zone when he gets it there.

I've met Weid, Melksham and Brent Grgic. I washed my hands after meeting each of them. In all seriousness I have met all 3 of the above whipping boys and they were all top blokes. I also went on the Daniher drive a few years a go and met lots of our greats from the Daniher era. On one of the mornings they had a kicking comp.i flukes a kick in thongs into a bin about 30 metres away and ended up in a kick off against Neitz, Brad Green, Yze and Cameron Bruce. I ended up coming 2nd to Neitz. I can live with the fact the greatest goal kicker in Melbourne's history fixed me up. Very surprised to finish ahead of Yze and Green but I thought I would have Cameron Bruce covered. True story. -
Bring in Chalmers and give him a crack. It pains me to say but ANB has to go out for him. Purely because there is no-one else to drop.

I've been talking up Petty and Jordon for years. Posted under my previous username minus 1 Chandler is next.
-
Write it down as a loss. As another poster succinctly wrote we are a top 8 bully. It's lucky you only play the top 8 in the finals.
-
I heard Jason Taylor asked why we took Petty in the draft when we already had a depth of tall midfielders on the list. He said when there is a jet available at a pick you didn't expect you have to take them.

The bloke got the shot at the perfect moment. They had him on the footy show to talk about it back when it was watchable. Today's photographers with their technology take pictures like machine guns, they just keep firing but that bloke just mailed it.

Surely the photo of the Sean Smith mark is the greatest. Heightened by the fact in the footage you see the flash go off in the crowd at the perfect moment.
