NON-MFC: Round 08
Collingwood had the ball in their attacking half for about 10 minutes straight and they kicked 0 goals that quarter.

NON-MFC: Round 07
Oh no, you’re fine, absolutely no apology necessary 🙂 I was agreeing with you. I was only half watching to be honest but some of the frees were… interesting.

NON-MFC: Round 07
Can’t argue against that…

NON-MFC: Round 07
At risk of being made a fool, I reckon saints have this. I don’t know which result is better for us to be honest

NON-MFC: Round 07
Do we prefer any result in this game?

NON-MFC: Round 07
If every one of those would be paid, there would be 20 more free kicks every game.

Hit on Clarry
I know right? Collingwood supporters provoke me all the time by just existing. It’s unjust.

NON-MFC: Round 07
Hahahahahahahaha, can we get these chips into the balls next year please? Jesus Wait was that in?? 2nd edit - I think Daffodil was correct and it was just in.

NON-MFC: Round 07
Or podge. Podge = obese. Obese rhymes with police. The police were lead by Sting. Bees sting and they like flowers. So I’ll call Hodge daffodil from now on.

Hit on Clarry
Not in Victoria. It can only come into consideration upon sentencing.

Hit on Clarry
I of course could be wrong here… but I have a sneaking suspicion that if Pendlebury hadn’t done this exact same thing a few weeks ago in which he only got a fine, Marlion would be getting a week. And then the footy media would be on their high horse about this being ‘poor example to kids’. Pendles though? Nah no worries. May as well mention this here but watch for this action in the granny this year. Why wouldn’t you do it? Target a couple players and get 10 different players to do this exact thing over a game.

NON-MFC: Round 07
Footy was the winner today.

Rory Lobb
The frustration I have with Lobb is that he is essentially the same size as Mumford with none of the aggression. I’m not talking slamming guys into the turf or knocking the stuffing out them with hip and shoulders, but things like smashing into marking packs. Giving the opposition players something to think about if they know you’re running up behind them. Mumford was 199cm and 109 kg Lobb is 207cm and 106kg (12kg heavier than Hipwood and 3kg heavier than Tom Hawkins) Different body types yes but Lobb is still massive in terms of weight and he’s quick for his size so would generate greater momentum. He doesn’t utilise his size and play like a big guy up forward, he plays like a third tall. Who would fear Rory Lobb in the AFL?

NON-MFC: Round 07
Hipwood? Considering he’s probably 5+ inches taller and 10+ kg heavier?

How rest and preparation dictate AFL performance
Ok this makes sense in terms of what I could see with our running. Against Brisbane and then the first half of the Tigers game essentially (it looked better to 3/4 time), the whole team looked slower in terms of run. No bursting away from players or looking like many could hit full pace.
