This trade could have been drawn out to the last day with both clubs refusing to give an inch. the fact it's been done early on day 4 suggests to me Mahoney wanted it locked away in order to move onto other deals. Maybe we gave up more than we initially intended to but it's possible it was done to achieve things this trade period that will benefit us even further, rather than holding out on draft positioning..- Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
Not so sure it is. If watts moves on we will have 3 second round picks to play with.- Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
Correct....We've become so accustomed to the value of draft picks over the past ten years, its become like an addiction to hold onto them for dear life...- Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
Mate, anything that has Terry dick head Wallace's name attached is pure tripe.- Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
He's reading from the AFL site so you're not even comparing the same articles. Everybody relax...- Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
Agreed, if that deal gets done it's Lever for pick 10 and an approx 5-8 spot downgrade. Sign the bloody papers.- Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
Yeah possibly...it did mention the possibility of other pick exchanges..I'd like to think that would be the case..- Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
Agreed. This next year is a superdraft stuff gives me the runs. On top of what you've already said..the player drafted this year has already been in the system for a year and is further developed. A club in our position wants players ready to go sooner rather than later..- Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
I took the article as saying what you've said, but we hand over our Watts compo as well...so: Out: Pick 10, next years 1st round pick and Watts compo pick. In: Lever, pick 18 (if Cameron deal gets done)- Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
Proposing at 21 years of age? He can't be too smart then..- Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
Levers Manager Guy has just been announced as Collingwoods new list manager.- Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
Adelaide are in damage control after the train wreck that was their Grand Final performance. They are just showing their supporters they are still "in control" of all of this..- Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever

Geelong gave up picks 9 and 28 for Dangerfield. Coughing up 10 and 27 would be a slap in the face for our clubs negotiation skills. Lever may be a decent player...but he is nowhere near a Patrick Dangerfield!- Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
So that would be picks 10, 27 and Watts for Lever...Jaysus!! If that was the case, let him go to Collingwood!- End of year delistings
If Vince is offered another contract I will be absolutely livid!- Clarence Oliver
Cannot believe he doesn't get spoken about in higher regard by the "experts". Each week his stats, especially contested possessions seem to just get passed over..- Clarence Oliver

I'm a 28 year Cubs fan and cannot wait for tomorrow. I haven't missed a Cubs post season game this year. I'm taking half a day off work to go home, crack a beer and watch it! They just need to hit their way past Kluber! GO CUBS!!!- WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - MICHAEL HIBBERD
Depends whether we intend to take the pick into the draft, or use it to trade with in order to land someone this trade period.- WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - MICHAEL HIBBERD
Might also force their hand into taking next year's second round pick. - Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
