I have my concerns with alot of players if I'm honest and good teams spread the load We can't keep hoping that May, Lever, Gawn, Tracc, Salem, Max and Oliver do enough for us to win Need more output from Spargo, Harmes, ANB, Hunt, Viney, Brayshaw These 6 players are so important and when they don't impact the game or scoreboard then we struggle

There seems to be a lot of noise that Jack isn't a 'team player' - I've read countless posts here about how he doesn't gel with many people and can be someone who can rub others the wrong way Although something like this from @binman can be brushed aside or taken with a pinch of salt, it is very rare that I see Viney really get around players or vice versa. It seems odd given his dedication to the club.

Wow some of the chat in this thread is...different Tracc is immature and a little bit of a pest around the club (heard many players say that he's always stirring players and even coaches up). In fact, I remember a few years ago there was a short clip of him joking that he's been eating Maltesers every night to the dietician because he knew he still had a bit of puppy fat on him But so what? You need someone like this around. After games he's always laughing, hugging, having fun and enjoying himself Sad that people think players have be one dimensional in order to be successful. Michael Jordon, LeBron James, David Beckham, Steph Curry, Roger Federer, Magic Johnson are all players who can have a laugh/joke but flick the switch when needed. Not saying he will get to their level of greatness but this is who he is Let him be him and enjoy his life

Play him forward? In what world? He can't kick more than 40m, has 0 aerial skills, isn't nimble, hand to foot drop is slow and defenders would have a field day running off him. It's amazing we signed him to 5 I would of given him max 3. Also you can't compare Viney to Danger Even when both are fully fit, Danger is a few levels of class above Viney. He can see his time out as a forward, he has speed, he can change the momentum of a game and his ability in the air is far greater I'm going to make a statement and say that Viney is going to struggle for the rest of his career to adjust to the modern game (even when he's at full fitness) I want to be proven wrong, but that's just what I'm seeing with how he's travelling vs the how the game is evolving

I worry for him long-term His style of play, lack of skills and speed is going to be exposed big time in the next two years plus. It's not like he can play an outside role, go forward or back He's just going to be stuck in the middle and clog up a position that we desperately need other assets in I don't think its a question of fitness - it's a question of his football ability

I've started a topic about him We all love his hard work, his attack and how much he's given to the club But he has too many flaws - one being how slow he's becoming and his lack of adjustment to the modern game I want to see him back to his best, but I think those days are past him

In October last year Jack Viney signed a 5 year deal until the end of 2025. I acknowledge how great he is for standards, leadership and work rate around the club. However, I believe he is no longer a fit for what we need and I don't know how we can afford to play him for the next few years. Put simply he is slow, he struggles to get any penetration on his kicks, he doesn't hit the scoreboard, lacks composure and continues to have niggling injuries that deteriorate his career. I think the game is going to go past him with the way he plays and I'm fearful that he will slow down our growth Where do we go with Jack Viney?

I don't think our list is good enough this year if I'm honest Hunt, ANB, Harmes, Viney, Sparrow, Hibberd all aren't good enough players to win a flag. In the next few years we will upgrade on Hunt, ANB and Hibberd, Sparrow will continue to improve but Viney and Harmes can't be in the same team It's one or the other - right now Harmes edges him but only slightly I don't know what we do with Viney. He is genuinely hurting our team. I would 100% look to trade him end of year.

We need to do something about Viney Our forward line will come But with Viney we simply can't have him for another 4 years I would seriously consider shipping him off
