  1. Interesting points and propably reflective of the lack of contributors here too, od.
  2. Yes, total lack of respect and acknowlegemet of whos the leader. And there is footage of him looking really bewildered/dismayed in the second half. Not a critcsm but looked like he was either searching for a way to stop the run on or totally dismayed with some players and the situation.
  3. Losing Howe for sure and you add Hogan as well. I know we got May but that is still a long way from a win and I dont think his value is as a deep back taking kick outs. Then you add OMac and one of those two brothers
  4. Welcome and good on you for being positive. However it is about standards, how many times have you heard the top coaches or supporters at top clubs say they were happy with a win like that. The only other team we could beat with that sort of permormance is Gold Coast. So massive improvement needed.
  5. Sam Frost and your Lever Lever 5.5 marks per game career average Sam Frost 5.3 per game career average I like Frosty but he is just a battler and has as good a stats as Lever. Hope I am wrong but never liked this deal. Two first round picks..
  6. You gave stats for 9 games. 36 marks. Who would recruit anyone based on being an intercept mark. What does that stat even mean?
  7. We could do with his toughness and knowlege but I am wary. I think the issue is the call on who to replace Roosy was a crucial call. A once in a generation to have one very good coach replace another. There was planning and there was plenty of time for the replacement to settle in to the role and hit the ground running. Whatever happens from here, that did not happen. A significant wasted opportunity. Calton came back but we should have been able to halve the contests after half time.
  8. No need to tell me to educte myself. As it happens the summary is by a non event journo and talks about a nine game period in one year. Comparing him to Rance and McGovern is and was laughable. They were key defenders, Lever a third tall. Fool journos like this one were exactly what pumped up his asking price. Makes you wonder.
  9. What? They sang the song with gusto and could not even wait for the Catain to be there. If I was Gawn I would be giving them the, If you ever embaress me like that again I will smash the culprit in front of the cameras.
  10. Maybe but for nearly 60 years supporters have been seeing players weaknesses and areas to address way before the coaches and selectors. Clear to see TMac looks top heavy.
  11. Stats dont back that up. Even in his two best years with the Cows averaged only 5-6 marks per game in a well run defence. Over rated.
  12. Gawn missed the song Jetta might be time May why at fullback Smith the flying albatross Tomlinson he tried hard Brayshaw im really worried Hunt is he langdon Langdon is he Hunt ANB full of self Melksham had no influence Jackson will be star Bennell added some class Fritta was great early Viney obvious second rover Oliver played solid game TMac titanic turning vehicle Rivers run rivers run Harmes take Vineys role Jones few more chances Petracca worlds your oyster
  13. I am just really disappointed in the trade we made and what we got. He may go on to play a lot of games but he has gotta find or Goody must find a role. Otherwise he is just like the bloke Cloke who dominated for a year or so and then became a bit of a laughing stock playing fast and loose without locking anyone down
  14. For mine it is not just how he played today. Look at his career. Massively over rated, even with the Crows. He was nowhere near an established star when he played there.
  15. I saw it and would be finding out who instigated it if I was coach. Also ball out ANB for his jhow good are we celebration of his lucky second goal. Not the first time and a bad influence.
  16. Hear you on both Weid and Jackson. Like to get Jackson at least two to three games. Agree on OMac and Pickett. VDB for Melksham maybe.
  17. Maybe but Lewis was an experience four time medal winner.
  18. It is not just ins and outs. Look at three big name signing. May is not a fullback, dominated games at GC as a half back Lever is only useful as a third tall. Tomlinson is ok but not a wingman, And then there are the regulars, Jetta sadly is near the end. brayshaw is a plodder. Vineys role should be replaced with Harmes. Without the bullocking Viney is a rover to ther best ruckman in the league, Whoever is at his feet should be starring. Old school second rover for mine. Neil-Bullen far too happy with himself. It just goes on and on. Loved Petraccas game but to hear him say the BLues are a really good team is ridiculous. Sire say they gave hard competition, but a good team. No. Goodwin is simply not up to it...
  19. I shuddered when I saw Neil- Bullens second goal celebrations.
  20. Make of this what you will. One night on the drink my friends and I had the idea of a prank for morning radio. One of the guys was a Commercial real estate agent. We planned to have a for sale sign made up and have it placed in front of AFL park Waverly. Only the guy did not make up the sign, instead being a sharp agent he pitched the idea to Jeff kennett who was figuring out planning for the docklands. [censored] of with the guy for not doing the prank and maybe having a small hand in us playing at Marvel today.
  21. I agree with both points of view. Lever is a big investment for an intecept marker of the ball. He really needs to step up as I feel reasonably comfortable in the knowlege Clarko may get low cost Frosty playing that role ok at the Hawks for a while.
  22. D Day, he does have a thing about the past.
