I always think what would have happened had May ironed out Pendlebury exactly the same wayā¦.6 weeks no questions.

And you only get to play AFL if youāre good enough.

I also differ from the senior coach on McAdam. Jefferson needs to show heās got what it takes to be a key forward in the AFL. If he can do that Iāll be more than satisfied

2025 Ladder Predictor
No ones training as well as us. In the words of RDB āWeāre training the house down whilst other clubs are stuck trying to remove roof tilesā

"We aren't great at any phase of the game"
If McAdam breaks down then surely a spot opens up. Weāve also got likely past it players in Melksham (could still be useful but donāt see him best 25) and Fullarton. Then thereās the ever lingering possibility of a season ending injury.

Letās hope youāre right. My observations from his year at Casey are different to others.

Iām guessing heāll play forward when the game demands it. Heās awesome around the ball but if Rivers and Langford are on top heās such a damaging presence up forward. Heās too good to not have around the ball especially in tight games. I think if we transition to a more attacking style heāll be front and centre at clearances. 2025 is likely going to be his best year yet.

Rubbish in what way? Players need to be protected from serious injury just as they are now protected from concussion. You can no longer allow ruptured spleens, collapsed lungs and broken ribs without at least looking at the rules. I donāt want to see the high mark outlawed, I also donāt want to see players out of the game because of avoidable injuries. Moore does not need to lift his knee. He owes a duty of care to Petracca as Chol does to May. Itās not hard to expect players to leap without driving the knee into players backs.

Players deserve protection from grotesque injuries. You do not need to jam your knee into an opposition players side to spoil or take a mark. It should always be a vertical motion as opposed to horizontal. Just watch how Jeremy Cameron marks high balls. Moore drives his knee into players week in week out. Heās caused several really significant injuries and the fact the AFL isnāt discussing this just shows how asleep at the wheel they areā¦..Oh but Kozz gets 3 weeksā¦.give me a break. Itās laughable.

I think one of the things that we should be able to benefit hugely from this coming season is improved fitness and thus greatly improved two way running.

Until Jeffo proves something heās just another big guy without the requisite appetite.

I guess it comes down to his attack on the ball and his ability to pinch hit in the ruck thus relieving JVR of those duties. If he can split packs, kick the odd goal and scare a few opposition defenders heās paid his way. Iām sick of recruiting guys without the prerequisite hunger for the contest. Itās the missing piece in our forward half. Iād give him 5-6 weeks to prove he can help. Thereās no love yet.

I think Lindsay may replace Salem if his body lets him down. TMac very unlucky. A half forward line with Petracca and Langford is mouth watering

I think they need to penalise the guy who lifts his knee and doesnāt mark it or something like that. Not quite sure how it works. Had Petracca been on the ground scrambling for the ball and Moore came in with his knee it would be a free kick so the same should apply in the pack situation???

Iāve just been for a drive in my Toyota, listening to the news on my Toyota radio when all of a sudden my phone rang which I answered on my Toyota Bluetooth. Thankfully it was just my mechanic reminding me I have a Toyota service tomorrow on my Toyota.

Compliments of the Season
Rock on Demonlanders, itās been a pleasure reading almost all of your opinions. Canāt wait for next year I think it might be a special one. Have a great Xmas and a rocking new year. Hug your kids, your partners, your friends and hell, even hug your family!

Supporters and unrealistic expectations
Iād pay $2m to drive it fast on all roads, unfortunately my driving skills far outweigh my financial skills so Iāll settle for driving at the limit in my old Toyota.

I want Johnson in the side to see what he can add. Iām sick of drafting these low rung talls and never playing them. I think his attack on the ball just might make him a handy forward addition and Iād like to see him given the opportunity to prove himself. Play him through the first 5-6 weeks, weāve nothing to lose.

Thereās only one way to drive a Ferrari.

Itās harder for him with Petty going back. We canāt/wonāt/itās unlikely we play 4 talls.
