  1. So I'm led to believe Tracc is staying and all is right in the world? If so he really needs to come out and say it.
  2. Maybe Chandler's out as well?
  3. It gives Verrall time
  4. Interspersed with some sound football knowledge are your posts like this one. Fresh air and exercise is my tip if you’re feeling this way, works for me.
  5. The way Petracca trains, goes about his preseasons and how good at football he is I’ve no doubt he’ll fully recover and play top line football again. I’ve also no doubt whoever he plays for (hopefully us) will get there moneys worth. Talk of “cutting your losses” when talking about a 28 year old Norm Smith medallist is way over the top, even by my standards. The guys a freaking superstar of the game.
  6. In the Pies coaching box…..sorry, couldn’t help myself.
  7. Absolutely it’s mind blowing but that’s how the situation looks to me. I think I was wrong once before about 17 years ago so I may well be again, we can only hope.
  8. Thats all way too sensible for me. You may well be spot and I hope you are but for mine it feels the other way. The next few weeks will give us the answer.
  9. Then put a post up celebrating the win. He’s chasing a trade, little doubt in my mind now. I believe teams are professional enough to mend bridges and that’s what may well happen and he’ll stay. However if he does demand a trade then we need to play hardball. He’s 2 top 10 picks and a high second rounder/solid 24-26 year old midfielder who plays for us round 1. Anything less and no deal. I’m also of the mind that if he does go we need change at the top. This should never have got to this point. (This may just be my disappointment with the situation bubbling over)
  10. Not so sure anymore. The whole club celebrated today except for one guy. You can’t deny the serious possibility.
  11. We made a statement today and so did someone else by not making a statement. He’s looking more gone by the day.
  12. Let’s just wait and see what the Collingwood offer is……..🤦‍♂️
  13. I’d be shocked if the club wasn’t aware of the issues that need addressing. I just don’t see how this helps considering how much conjecture about the club has been swirling around for the last 12 months. Ideally he’d want to be captain and drive the standards from there. I don’t see how he can be now which is another reason why I’m starting to think he may just be trying to force a trade.
  14. Which is another reason he may actually be on the way out.
  15. Where’s the fun in that. i do find it interesting that he’s said nothing to us, the supporters, to alleviate the obvious concerns. The longer that silence lasts the closer he is to being traded……at least that’s becoming my take on the matter. His silence has meaning no??
  16. I’m just throwing it out there as part of the discussion. Maybe the Pies come at us with Quaynor, their first this year and next. Deals get done, the world moves on. Obviously I find him leaving unlikely but not impossible and I enjoy the discussion
  17. Just to keep the discussion rolling. There’s been rumours about Tracc to the Pies for several months. All completely unverified. Maybe he does want out? Maybe this week’s release by someone close enough to him is start of the process that will see him ask for a trade. Of course I think this is unlikely but we can’t rule it out. Has he played his last game for us? one thing you gotta love about this club is it just keeps on giving.
  18. Is the silence deafening yet?
  19. The club would be out of its mind if it traded him to the Pies. Could you imagine the membership drop off. It’d be Barrassiesque. Except Ron was proper tough.
  20. We have no idea of how good or not McQualter has been at our club or how he could be in the future. He’s been working with one arm tied behind his back this year. He’s clearly rated highly in the industry and I doubt very much he’s our problem. I’m happy if he stays. I think we need others to change though. New eyes required.
  21. Sticking tackles and breaking tackles as well
  22. Watching Casey play. He’s not strong enough physically for mine nor does he hit contests hard enough for a key forward. He’s improving no doubts but he’s at least a big preseason away from a game. GC have a strong defence and we kick to the top of the square……you do the Math on that. By the way I’m looking forward to your training reports. Keep an eye out for players drinking beers and fighting between themselves and the coaches. 😂
  23. As has been already suggested I’d trade next years first for another first this year and get JT to pick 2 ready to go skilled, quick draftees. If Trac remains unhappy and really wants to go next year he can go to the highest bidder. That’ll give us 2 good first rounders next year plus our NGA prospect and potentially Kalani White. We’ll then end up with a pretty red hot bunch of youngsters and away we go. If Trac can find peace again (I’m assuming the media reports hold some truth) then we’re still in a strong position. Hold on to your hats Demonlanders this is going to be one hell of a ride 👊💪🏆
  24. You’re rewriting history although I’d agree he was good at his job. We still have very few soft tissue injuries and it appears our preseason MAY of seen some poor application from some players. Others have noted that the Burgess method may have a time limit. Consistently playing through injury with our heavy contest method may of just burnt us out. Who knows?
  25. Too young and doesn’t need the pressure of leading us during this
