  1. read the terms and conditions
  2. The wily womenfolk of Judea solved this problem 2 millennia ago. As faithfully re-enacted here by Month Python, all that is required is a fake beard, some modern male garb (I suggest and suit and tie) and to speak in a low baritone voice. Problem solved
  3. Agree. Richmond look primed. They always get such an even contribution across the board. Mason Cox looked dangerous. Kicked 3 and could have had more if he held all his marks. If he can produce some consistent form heโ€™s a nightmare match-up for anyone.
  4. Over the last few years our good is very good but our bad is terrible. The inconsistency and yo-yo performances suggest mental fragility and weakness. We let our intensity and effort drop off. The Bulldogs last year springs to mind as a classic example. A 3rd quarter disappearing act. Everybody but particularly senior players need to held accountable.
  5. Confidence rock bottom. We just need to stay alive so I'll take a win by whatever means we can muster.
  6. If Richmond make the grand final again i know who i'll be putting my money on to win the Norm Smith
  7. The Collingwood approach to list management! I wouldn't advise we go down that path.
  8. Grundy had a poor season last year so they are regretting it now. 4 years is a big commitment and vote of confidence in Gawn. And although he is 30 he doesn't have the same miles on the clock as other 30 year olds because he didn't play much early in his career. There is a trend in sports of players enjoying extended careers. Tom Brady, Zlatan, Ronaldo all playing well into their 30's and early 40's. Perhaps with advances in sports science we can extend Maxy's career? He certainly looks in top nick at the moment.
  9. Heโ€™s a good character and the change of scene seems to be working. I thought it was a joke when he was named CHF but he has backed it up so good on him. It would be the irony of ironies if Omac slotted goals for Carlton this year while we continued our forward struggles.
  10. Great news. Hopefully Oliver extension not far away either.
  11. If ladder positions don't change, and i reckon they won't, we'll have played all of the top 6 and only 3 from the bottom half.
  12. Toughest possible run home. We never have any luck with the fixture.
  13. Fair points regarding forward 50 pressure and tackles. If heโ€™s fully fit then heโ€™s best 22, no question. I trust the coaching staff to do the right thing but I just donโ€™t like playing youngsters who are underdone. Playing badly as a result could impact his confidence. Heโ€™s a potential 200+ gamer. Letโ€™s make sure we manage him properly.
  14. BDA replied to Grapeviney's topic in Melbourne Demons
Iโ€™m glad the club gave him a chance to prove himself but it appears he just didnโ€™t show enough to warrant a spot. Pity, it would have great to see the Farmer name in the red and blue again.
  15. Kozzy is very talented but like all young players is no guarantee. He was very skittish last year particularly in front of goal but thatโ€™s not unusual for a first year player. With proper coaching and maturity no reason to think he wonโ€™t become more composed and start kicking those goals. Not sure why the club is talking about him potentially playing round 1. Even if he has been training while away I canโ€™t see how he is up to speed. Why take the chance? Iโ€™d prefer he is fully fit as playing half cooked risks damaging his confidence unnecessarily. Chandler looked decent in the praccy so why not let him play early. I think he has earned the right. We donโ€™t need to be rushing kozzy back.
  16. I reckon relying on TMac is โ€œwishing and hopingโ€ OD. Hope i'm wrong though.
  17. Converting I50โ€™s into a winning score will make all difference for us so I reckon winning a Coleman would be as good if not better predictor of us playing and winning finals. I had high hopes that BB could win it but heโ€™d need to play the 22 games youโ€™d think.
  18. Itโ€™s great to have Kozzy, Brayshaw and Viney getting close to full fitness but we have reasonable cover for them. For me, itโ€™s critical we get BB up and running as soon as possible. Relying on TMAC with Jackson/Maxy rotating makes me nervous.
  19. I've just spat my corn flakes all over my computer screen reading that! I think this should read BOLD PREDICTION : YZE WILL COACH MELBOURNE WHEN GOODWIN GETS THE SACK.
  20. Canโ€™t blame them for discounting us. Our track record speaks for itself. Improved coaching will be the difference maker this year i believe. Chocco skills and ooze cohesion will see us play finals. Just need to get through the first few weeks with our makeshift forward line.
  21. Thanks for respectfully arguing your point. I appreciate it.
  22. constructive as ever DD. Hopefully you never end up being my neighbor.
  23. Well argued. No wonder our politics is stuffed.
