I’m not surprised that goody was sacked. He shouldn’t be either I am surprised at the timing. If it was going to happen I thought it would take place at the end of the season, rather than with 3 weeks left to go.

he didn't have a good game overall i thought against the doggies but what i liked, and shows good character/resilience, he persevered. and late in the game he took that excellent mark and converted. had a good 4th quarter actually shows to me he's made of the right stuff

Didn’t smith have coffee with Buckley in April yet Caro implying he was not in favour of removing goody. Doesn’t add up for me.

I’m amazed at how quickly everyone has convinced themselves that Nathan Buckley is the best man for the job. Outside of the Tassy job he hasn’t been mentioned as a possible coach in waiting. I can’t recall him being mentioned on this site (maybe I missed it) as an option until Goody was sacked last week. The consensus was get the best up and comer for the job. Oh well. I hope the board knows what its doing.

After the disappointing men’s season I’m really looking forward to the women’s comp. And for once it looks like we haven’t been shafted by the fixture Go dees
