We are where we are because of complacency. Hard decisions by the people entrusted to run the club should have been made but weren't. Last year was alarm bells but i thought Goody deserved another season to try to turn it around. Turns out i was wrong. The people who should have known went with the easy option and retained the coach. made easy decisions like bring in a plainly unqualified Nat Jones to coach our midfield. Ran an external review for optics purposes. Poor decisions in hindsight. We need a CEO asap and we need to start the search for a new coach yesterday. And we need to try to manage Goody's exit in a dignified and respectful manner. He's been a great coach for us but the game has passed him by.

Any idea who it is

Words won't sooth or assuage anybody. no matter what he says people won;t be happy. The only way to respond is on the field. Sadly, i have no faith that our performances can turn around. Our method is shot, our players confidence on the floor and a coaching team devoid of ideas. i expect the next major comms will be around kings birthday for Goody's farewell game.

Thankfully i'll be in flight heading back to the old country for a stint so will miss this game. and the next 3-4 i'll also miss the rest of the clown show election campaign silver linings

steven smith needs to get to grips with the situation pronto (i'm sure he is behind the scenes) caretaker coach to try and lift the veil of despondency that has settled on the playing group make sure new CEO is in situ july / august so he/she can get a sense of the place, maybe even run a proper external review this time. getting ready for the trade and draft period is the challenge. not sure we can get everyone in and aligned before then

In hindsight goody should have been let go at the end of last year. The problems that were evident have not been addressed. And pert and roffey presided over this. I can forgive roffey because she doesn’t know footy. But pert botched it all. Best culture he’d ever seen.

On the filed the game moved on and our coach and players have not been able to adapt Off the field we accepted poor behaviour from clarry. If there is one thing I would do differently if had the time over would be to show him the door. He’s been a culture killer.

he did say it. he reckons our form will turn and we'll be on our way. and he reckons he's still the man to coach the team and has the credentials needed. I actually thought it was one of his better post-game press conferences. he showed belief in himself and the team Unfortunately, there absolutely zero evidence that we will turn it around. 15 mins here and there won't cut it. If it was going to turn it would have done so by now.

We need men to sort out the mess we are in. Clarry is a manchild. his BS behaviour started the rot. Maybe life on the farm will help him to grow up. Trac might be professional and train well (and thats not nothing) but he is not a leader. He has trade value so we should look at getting a pick for him. its very depressing right now
