AFLW: Rd 07 vs Western Bulldogs

There' a gulf between Crows, Lions, Dees and the rest. North competitive but can't score. this is the worst doggies team i've seen play in the ALFW since inception. Lost some players to expansion teams i think. not sure about injuries today

I was hoping Mackins kick would go all the way. It was a fair roost

Looks like Mackin has the same attitude as well. They won't die wondering

Great kick Zanker after the siren. Dees by 26 points at halftime. Doggies very limited. Can't see anything other than a Dees win here

bannan with the goal but looked like a push in the back by Zanker in the lead-up. thems the breaks. we'll take it Dees 2.3.15 to 1.0.6 for the doggies

compose yourself Tayla. Goldy giving away the freekicks is a momentum killer

Dees playing with the wind 1st quarter leading 1 goal to zip. Very scrappy start. No fluency from us thus far

2 bounces from Mackin. Missed the kick into the corridor earlier but not afraid to take it on. I think she's going to a good player for us

		Farewell Luke Jackson

Iโve heard a reason, no idea if true or not so wonโt mention. But if it is true then can totally understand why heโs heading home. I would do the same if I were in his shoes.

		Farewell Luke Jackson

What do you expect him to do exactly? Go to the PSD if freo canโt compensate us adequately? He saw out his contract, didnโt rock the boat or be disruptive in any way from what I can tell and based on Kate Roffeys speech at the bnf leaves on good terms and would be welcomed back. By all means have the [censored] with freo and Peter bellend but I donโt think Luke has done much wrong here.

		AFLW: 2022 Fixture (Season 7)

The size differential between the Crows and the other teams always amazes me I had the game on in the background just now and assumed the Crows had a breeze at their back in the 1st quarter, but no, they just kick it a good 10 meters on average farther than their opponents due to their size and strength Game from Freo, they fought like tigers and were ahead at 3 quarter time, but the dam broke inevitably in the last and the Crows ran over the top of them Crows' brute strength very difficult to combat. They are looking very ominous Hoping North can beat the Lions in this evening's game

i don't know. Maybe not but i think when a player has decided to move to a new team, if push comes to shove, he'll act in his new teams best interests rather than the old team. If Freo budge from their current offer (i highly doubt it) I'm pretty sure it won't be because of prompting from LJ or his camp

		Farewell Luke Jackson

Agree. From his new perspective (he's Freo now) he'd rather Freo keep their picks and use on improving his new team

		Josh Bruce

I'm ok with it. he gives us another forward option which we lacked last year.

		That's too much. Prefer $350k to $400k

		Josh Bruce

So he doesnโt work out. As long as not pay him too much or sign him to a long contract we havenโt risked too much. Thatโs what I mean by downside. libbas and castagne from Tiges have worse tatts

		Josh Bruce

He's an upgrade on the Weid. We might get a year or 2 decent service while JVR is establishing himself. cover for BB and TMac both of home are injury prone as they get older. Granted, we don't know if he'll get back to his 2021 form given his knee injury but this is low cost, best available option play. There's not much downside in my view.

Thought I heard Lamb say the club would facilitate a trade if the opportunity arose. Weโre well stocked defensively and would likely free up some cap so it makes sense from an MFC perspective I reckon.

Don't understand the hostility. We're swapping out a player we don't require for someone that will bolster our KPF stocks. It's a low cost depth play. Not much downside and you never know, he might kick 20-25 goals for us next season

This episode highlights the danger of letting players run down their contracts. You end up relying on good faith negotiations with the likes of Peter bellend. We have no leverage. Itโll be 13 and their f1.
