There are many factors that which will determine success or failure (they are being discussed ad nauseum on numerous other threads at the moment) But if it comes down to 1%ers our winning experience could be the difference. It won’t matter if we don’t play well like you say but in an even matched contest, knowing that we’ve done it before matters Geelongs’s finals experience over the past decade has been of ultimate failure despite high hopes and expectations. One big advantage we have is we are the only team with grand final winning experience to draw on when the whips are cracking in September.
