From my perspective a perfect death ride outcome. Cats lose and the Suns upset the Lions to maintain the one game gap with Freo.

Very conflicted today. I love the death ride but hate Geelong. Ideally Geelong loses today but Freo still finish in bottom 4 at seasons end.

The better Carlton does in his absence the more likely this becomes an option. I don't know whether he is open to leaving but he would make a massive difference to us. In terms of cost i'd give Carlton our first rounders this year. If our later pick isn't satisfactory maybe, we can do a deal with GC to get there's. And I'd prefer to use our picks on McKay than trading up for No.1 to get Harley Reid.

Blues up to 5th! The Carlton hordes will be up and about. I'm surrounded by them at work. I have to admit their choke last year was hilarious. One of the funniest things ever. I almost felt sorry for them. Almost. Would be fun to watch them stuff it up again this year but i don't think they will. I think they'll finish 5-6.
