  1. My preference would definitely be for Jackson to stay, but think we've all resigned us to him leaving now so it's all about the swings and roundabouts of how it works out. We've turned players requesting a trade/departure into wins before - notably Hogan & Frawley, which ended up contributing to us winning a flag. Just have to see how it plays out I guess.
  2. Tomlinson in, Petty forward? (If Brown doesn't play that is)
  3. Of course no one can sign a contract with an opposition team during the season, but players can absolutely tell other clubs they're not interested or re-sign with their current team which means MFC 'tried and failed' to lure them across. Agree we're well run now and should be able to turn losing Jackson into a good outcome.
  4. Can tell you for a fact Lever was all but locked into a trade to the Dees by halfway through the season. Unless you truly believe we don't talk to anyone until 9am at the beginning of the trade period?
  5. He signed that deal in July, well before his (very unexpected) 3rd placing in the Brownlow (and in the same year he was dropped for the first few games). He's on the record as saying he 'wished' he earned close to the 600k per year that was rumoured in the media. I don't agree his current contract would be "incredibly high".
  6. Read this comment in Jordan Peterson's voice.

Too much of a DH for the Pies, that should tell you something...
  8. His teammates reactions would tell you he's not just following coaching instructions.
  9. Pretty safe changing your name to Weid Milkshake I reckon...

Buckley, who has previously said he would not leave Victoria while his children were still in school, said on Monday he would not consider any coaching position – with North Melbourne or any other club in the league – putting all conjecture to bed. “It’s got nothing to do with the club. I can’t see myself coaching in the future,” Buckley said on SEN. Nathan Buckley rules out a return to coaching
  11. IN: Oliver, Petty, Weid/JVR OUT: Melksham, Tomlinson, Bedford Tommo would be very unlucky, but he's been dropped for Petty before even when playing ok. Could be on stand by for Lever anyway depending on how his shoulder pulls up. Need another tall, forward mix doesn't feel quite right. Fritsch won't be dropped, but geez he'd want to sit front row for the review.

  13. Not as simple as this - but basically we'd need to win by 10 goals to be 1st.
  14. Take a bow Nibs.
  15. Horrible, but long way to go folks. Take a breath.
  16. In the rooms, Dunstan warming up.
  17. Brave by Lever, may pay the price though.
  18. Fritsch. FFS.
  19. "Freed from desire" plays...
  20. Of course he hasn't, he just likes to comment on whatever I post, that's how he decides what he thinks. Unfortunately you can't block posters posts when others reply.
  21. .
  22. Yeah, but that's no different to any trade or free agent move though.
  23. Jacko has also said he'd like to play in the backline...
  24. My opinion is it's as simple as the brothers would like to play together.
  25. I think you just did... ;)
